Does anyone else get redirected to spammy websites occasionally when they use the forum? I'll be on a forum post when suddenly I'm taken to a spammy website. I don't think it's my computer; my virus-checker has turned up all-clear, and this doesn't seem to happen on other sites I visit.
In any case, just wondering if this is a common occurrence/if others have experienced the same.

I've been experiencing this as well. Sometimes, when peacefully browsing the forums, I get taken to some site asking me to claim a reward or something similar to that. Whenever it happens, I always close out of the tab as quickly as possible.

It’s best that you report the spammy website/ad to ProBoards. Depending if you’re using mobile or desktop version, you can use the link at the bottom of the desktop version or if on mobile use this: mobile report. If you can (on desktop), grab the link of the spammy ad and include it in your report to ProBoards. Once you’ve done that, you should get less or no spammy ads.
