This is my interpretation of events. I know the Erins said DOTC takes place in the 70's, but I don't really think that fits. So this is how I view the timeline: (seasons may be off)
1939: Fallen Leaves goes into the tunnels and never comes out. The ancients decide to leave the lake.
- Ten year time gap -
1950: Half Moon receives the omen of the Sun Trail. Half of the Tribe decides to leave to have a better life.
Summer(?) 1950: The cats arrive at the old forest and start settling down.
Fall 1950: Clear Sky and his cats decide to move to the forest. Turtle Tail leaves. Thunder is born.
Spring 1951: Thunder Rising and The First Battle.
Summer/Fall 1951: The Blazing Star
Winter 1951, early 1952: A Forest Divided and Path of Stars
Spring/Summer/Fall(?) 1952: Moth Flight's Vision
- Several years later, (assuming about ten years) - Moth Flight dies.

Late 1970s: SkyClan is driven from the forest
1988: Mapleshade's Vengeance
1991: Pinestar's Choice
Late 1994: Goosefeather and Moonflower are born
1995: Tallstar and Finchkit are born.
1996: Yellowfang, Nutwhisker and Rowanberry are born.
1997: Crookedstar and Oakheart are born
1998: Bluestar and Snowfur are born.
1999/2000: Scourge is born, and later attacked by Tigerpaw
2000/2001: Spottedleaf's Heart
2003: Into the Wild and Fire and Ice
2004: Forest of Secrets (spring), Rising Storm (summer), A Dangerous Path (fall), The Darkest Hour (winter)
2005: Firestar's Quest; Squirrelflight and Leafpool are born
2006-2007: The New Prophecy
Winter 2007: Leafpool's Wish; Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Hollyleaf are born
Winter/Spring/Summer 2007-2008: The Sight, Dark River, Outcast
Fall 2008: Eclipse and Long Shadows
Late winter 2008, early 2009: Sunrise. Dovewing and Ivypool are born. Very beginning of Hollyleaf's Story

Summer 2009: The Forth Apprentice
Fall 2009: Fading Echos and Mistystar's Omen
Winter 2009: Night Whispers and Sign of the Moon
Spring/Summer 2010: The Forgotten Warrior; end of Hollyleaf's Story
Late Summer, early fall 2010: The Last Hope
Winter 2010: Deadly greencough outbreak
2011: Bramblestar's Storm
2012: Alderpaw and Sparkpaw are born.
Fall(?) 2012: The Apprentice's Quest
2013: Thunder and Shadow
So yeah, that's just how I imagine it all. The dates and seasons may be off, but that's the events in order anyways.
