Oooh, who is the mysterious cat?
I checked back on earlier panels to see if the figure was in one of them but they weren't.

Someone from the prophecy whom we haven't met yet? Edit: "Meet the one with ancient soul, he will tell you of your role" indeed! who could it be??? 👀

Dang it now I have a theory! The prophecy says: "When the sky becomes the earth, journey to the land of birth. Brave the forest, Brave the stone. Be of five, but each alone. Meet the one with the ancient soul. They will tell you of your role. Cross the ice and cross the plain. Will you lose or will you gain? One who's lost will become chief, learning from a bitter leaf. And die the heart of the five. A new world you must contrive. All for one or all alone. Who will claim the empty throne? Great change comes. Divide or mend. See the same or all shall rend." The first verse of it: 'When the sky becomes the earth' means: When the sky cats invade the clans.
'journey to the land of birth' means: travel away from the mountains.
Therefore, the full meaning of the verse is: "When the sky cats invade the clans, travel away from the mountains."
The second verse of it: 'Brave the forest, Brave the stone,' means: (I don't know yet. However the title of chapter eleven is "The Forest and The Stone"
'Be of five, but each alone.' means: five will travel with eachother, but they still might not all trust eachother. The third verse of it: 'Meet the one with the ancient soul.' means: Meet the cat Percy saw.
'They will tell you of your role,' means: They will help you on your journey.
The whole meaning is: Meet the cat Percy sees. They will help you in the future.
The fourth verse of it: 'Cross the ice and cross the plain.' means: (Not quite sure yet. However they may need to cross a tundra and plains.)
'Will you lose, or will you gain?' means: (I don't have any idea yet.) The fifth verse of it: 'One who's lost will become chief,' means: (I don't know, however I think it has something to do with Crowheart.)
'Learning from a bitter leaf.' means: (I really don't know. Could possible be referencing medicine cats referring to Crowheart.)
The sixth verse of it: 'And die the heart of the five.' means: (Like Crowheart mentioned in page 163. Or possibly someone else.)
'A new world you must contrive.' means: (I don't really know. Possibly referring to rebuilding the clans)
The seventh verse of it: 'All for one or all alone' means: (Possibly means: someone will either have help ascending leadership. Or they will refuse help and do it alone.)
'Who will came the empty throne?' 9Goes into play with "All for one or all alone." The eighth verse of it: 'Great change comes.' means: Its a warning for everything that's going to happen.
'Divide or mend.' means: The clans must either divide, or forget their differences and unite.
'See the same or all shall rend.' means: (This I have no clue. Either do something or everything will at risk)
Just ask for a more vivid explanation. I will happily geek out as much as you would like.

They might help to figure out who is the heart.
The whole meaning is: Meet the cat Percy sees. They will help you in the future.
The fourth verse of it: 'Cross the ice and cross the plain.' means: You must travel
'Will you lose, or will you gain?' means: Will you succeed in getting help and grow as a cat, or will you fail? The fifth verse of it: 'One who's lost will become chief,' means: Crowheart will begin to rule the clans.
'Learning from a bitter leaf.' means: I think this is figurative, meaning that Crowheart has a bitter past, and it references to him being a medicine cat.
The sixth verse of it: 'And die the heart of the five.' means: I have multiple theories on this.
1: Crowheart dies 2: Ravenwing dies 3: Crowheart changes as a person, so they seem entirely different 4: Ravenwing changes as a person, so they seem entirely different 5: They all entirely change 6: They all trust each other 7: Daedelus is the heart (This one's explanation is a bit of a stretch)
'A new world you must contrive.' means: The structure of both communities shall change
The seventh verse of it: 'All for one or all alone' means: I think this means two things at once:
1: The entire group of five will trust each other and share the same goal or will not trust eachother 2: The clans and Kingdoms shall fuse or stay seperate.
'Who will claim the empty throne?' Who will rule the Eastern Kingdom, or who will rule the new community
The eighth verse of it: 'Great change comes.' means: The social and governmental structures will drastically change
'Divide or mend.' means: The clans and kingdoms will either divide, or forget their differences and unite.
'See the same or all shall rend.' means: All must begin to treat each other with kindness, no matter whether or not they have wings, or all show be destroyed in battle
I changed some things up to what I think. I will explain anything you ask to be explained.

Well, Rumor... It's kind of a stretch, but... Daedelus is at the heart of his own plans, his plans that involve 4 kingdoms, 4 rulers (Ariadne is the 4th and an important part of his plans), and he is manipulating them to rule over them, so he is the 5th ruler. Heart of five. Him dying would make sense, as he's the villain, and it is a nice plot twist.

Because those two are extremely important to the plot.

Actually, Ravenwing might be the one to die the heart of the five. In the 'Extra art' section the title for Ravenwing is "The Heart." Just something to think about..
