Hello! I understand you wish to join Cypressclan! Please be sure to read/skim over everything on the main thread (linked above) in order to join properly! Please be absolutely sure to read the rules, though! Please also take a look at the prefix list for prefix availability. if a prefix is used twice, it isn't allowed to be used again unless their is an elder with the prefix. [ prefix list is located below this ]
Joining this roleplay is rather simple- just follow this link to the join page (or back to the main page after you join). Please make sure you fill out the form COMPLETELY. Only leave stuff out if it has *optional* next to it.
*NOTE: Prefixes are only allowed to be used twice- but please try not to do so, and have some creativity. I mean honestly, i don't want three different cats that start with "Sage" or "Frost" or something.

Birdpaw | Apprentice | 9 moons | She-cat
![]() Birdpaw is a lanky, long-limbed young she-cat with a swift build. Her fur is short and mostly white all over, with a few dark chocolate brown splotches (there are two on her face). She has a dark nose and large blue eyes. In general, Birdpaw is quite a fascinating looking apprentice but nothing too far from the ordinary in terms of appearance. Birdpaw’s personality, on the other hand, is the most fascinating thing about her. She is quick-witted, sharp, and absolutely talkative. Her meow can always be heard in discussions but she knows when to stop talking. Despite her great speaking skills she is quite a failure at most other normal apprentice things such as hunting and fighting. Her swift build and agility somehow don’t help her to be less clumsy, and she is extremely self-conscious.

![]() Twigclaw is a bulky, stocky tom that has a slightly intimidating air about him. He has sleek brown marble patterned tabby fur that showcases his muscles quite well, and large paws complete with a set of sharp claws. His face is round but not chubby and it showcases his amber eyes well. Even though he looks handsome and also fearsome, this tom is quite the opposite. He’s opposed to fighting and war, preferring to surrender rather than take risks. Twigclaw is also an extremely kind tom. Even though he seems like the perfect friend and mate, he’s often very nervous about everything. He speaks with a permanent stutter, he doesn’t know how to initiate conversation, and it can be quite hard for him to open up to others.

Finchsong | rank | 48 moons | ♀  It is difficult to be optimistic in a cruel world, but even if she must at times fake it you will rarely find Finchsong without her ears perked and tail raised; the feline equivalent of a smile. Naturally social, Finchsong gravitates towards her clan-mates, and though she is cheerful she is not loud. She is the sort of cat who likes to emphasize others in conversation, a supporter rather than one whom herself enjoys the spot-light. Despite her kind disposition, Finchsong has very little maternal instinct and keeps away from the topic of kittens in general. Some have commented that she has the stereotypical nurturing and empathetic qualities of a medicine cat – which is ironic, because Finchsong would absolutely fail in that role, she’s far too bad at memorization and is quite clumsy. Not a particularly skilled hunter or fighter, Finchsong supports her clan as best as she can, though her strengths lie in her unbreakable sense of hope. She is determined to persevere through anything, and to help those she loves push through the valley of shadows as well. Finchsong is objectively a very pretty cat. Her pelt is a very light brown with an almost golden tint which pales into a soft cream around her muzzle and underbelly. She is littered with mousey brown tabby stripes, thick and contrasting with the dainty hue of her pelt. Her eyes are the most noticeable of her features, though; mint green and distinctively large. Her face is slightly flattened in comparison to the average CypressClan cat, with her small, pink nose located nearly smack between her eyes. Finchsong has a short but thick pelt, and is rather average in size. Her legs are slightly shorter than typical CypressClan cats, but she is not small by any means, just a tad stockier.
Asterfur | rank | 19 moons | ♂
 You could call Asterfur a lazy, irresponsible, ignobaly apathetic waste of resources - and you wouldn't be wrong. The young tom-cat would submit to that title with a shrug; if there is one thing that defines Asterfur it is his self-awareness. He understands that he is likely more burden than benefactor to the clan, but does not care. More specifically; he will not go out of his way to help the clan unless ordered to because he feels that his role is altogether insignificant. Asterfur has little, if any, sense of self-efficacy. He is not content in this position (it's like a constant itch right under the skin) but sees no point in effort. There is no meaning in the monotony anyways; Asterfur sedates himself with poignant nihilism and philosophical musing. He would much rather be sitting alone by some body of water than at all associating with his clanmates. Understandably this does not make him much beloved. Nonetheless he is a skilled warrior, his prowess coming from natural talent alone, so he's worth enough to keep from being exiled. It is worth noting that Asterfur is not wholly emotionless, or that he doesn't care for his clan-mates; rather, he closes off as a very poor coping strategy. Very sentimental in his younger years, watching his entire family die can take a toll on anyone, especially a sensitive youngster - thus, instead of dealing with this in a healthy way he decided to just shut down. While high in practical intelligence, he's a bit of a dumb*ss when it comes to "feelings". Asterfur has a very unique look; he's a very light silver and white tabby with an unusually oriental body style, which is to say he has the narrow, long-limbed body reminiscent of a siamese. His eyes are a striking golden.
His younger brother, from a different litter, is Jaypaw. Both are the only surviving members of their respective litters, and so the brothers have a close bond - if one that is slightly strained due to Asterfur's aloof persona.
Jaypaw | Apprentice | 11 moons | ♂
 As the smallest tom in his family - which is saying something since he comes from a line of odd-balls among CypressClan's large, well-buil warriors - Jaypaw grew up constantly attempting to prove his masculinity. (Or, you know, to the extent that cats conform to gender roles.) This can make him a bit over-bearing. He doesn't know quite where to draw the line with anything he does; as he is constantly trying to prove himself he always takes things one step further, hoping this will gain him attention. He's loud, with a false superiority complex overcompensating for his insecurities. Regardless of his abrasive personality, he has a good heart, and is fiercely loyal to his friends. He's conflict prone; he never knows when to hold his tongue and has a bit of a thing with Right-And-Wrong, which puts him at ends with many of his clan-mates. He's really a "love him or hate him" kind of guy. Jaypaw is a light gray tabby tom with a white underbelly, muzzle, and front-right-paw. He has bright golden-amber eyes.
His older brother, from a different litter, is Asterfur. Both are the only surviving members of their respective litters, and so the brothers have a close bond.

Tigershadow | Warrior | 38 moons old| Tom
 Tall and slender, Tigershadow is more built for stamina than he is for strength or running, he is athletic in build with thick dark brown tabby fur, undercoated with a soft cream colour, with fur of an especially fluffy texture. With eyes lit a pale green colour and four black tipped paws. He is a witty and intelligent tom, potentially a little too much for his own good as he still has a lot to learn, and his sharp tongue can sometimes get him into trouble. However, he is a good hearted tom with a bravery few can outmatch.

 Massive is probably the perfect word to describe this tom, which coupled with his less than friendly personality does not make this tome the most approachable cat in the world. He is a thick furred white tom, splashed with markings of dark brown and tints of ginger across his back and body in assymetrical patternings and very thick fur, culmulating in a mane like formation around his collar, and eyes of dark blue. However, the result of his size is that he is infuriatingly slow. He is a quiet tom, preferring to keep himself to himself where possible and never one to use ten words where two would do just as well.

Splashfire| Queen | 27 moons old| Shecat
 Charming and sweet are two words most connoted with this pretty shecat, of slender frame and not especially large she has learned to use her tongue to the best of her abilities rather than her paws to get herself out of tricky situations. She is a mostly black cat, marked white in a blaze pattern at the chest, and splashed with ginger colouring across her body. She is a sweet and good natured cat, but not one to be underestimated in terms of wit. She has a sharp tongue and the intelligence to use it, but the heart to prefer not to unless necessary.

Since Nettlemask is described as a calico, that would mean hes an infertile tom (or he can't have kits).
If you're willing to keep that, then that fine and I'll add them, but if you want to change him so that he can reproduce, then you can do that as well, just let me know (:
Also, is Splashfire just a permanent queen, or is she expecting? I'd rather just have her as a permanent queen, since well, who would the father be? Unless it were to be a rogue or something. |

(He's not a calico? he is just brown and white with some gingery cream colouring. I have a cat like that who isn't a calico, and I wanted her to be expecting and wanted to see if there is anyone who could be her mate in the clan)

Dogtooth | warrior | 35 moons | tom
 Dogtooth is a muscular cream-colored tom with brown lynx points. He was named for his unusually large and sharp teeth, similar to a dog. He has bright blue eyes with a long scar across his face from a fox attack many moons ago. His fur is medium length and well groomed, as he believes that matted fur will hurt his hunting abilities. Dogtooth has always been a strict tom, and he tends to be very focused on rules, but he does know when they need to be broken. He may present himself in a unfriendly way, he really a quite understanding tom who wishes to help anyone in need, though his loyalty lies completely with his clan. He sometimes has trouble staying calm in certain circumstances, as in, he has a shot temper. It is imperative you don't get on his bad side because he has a tendency to hold grudges. Dogtooth was formerly a rogue named Dog, but he joined the clan at the young age of 10 moons, and he's been loyal to it ever since.

 Dawnshadow is slightly on the smaller side for Cypressclan cats, probably because her mother and father were both relatively small. She is a long-furred black cat with some strands of brown mixed into her coat. Her eyes are a pretty yellow, and she keeps herself very well-groomed, since her brother barely takes any car of himself, and she doesn't like being assossiated with her brother. Dawnshadow is a very up-beat, chipper molly who is almost completely opposite of her brother. Where he is pessimistic, she looks on the bright side. Where he is unforgiving, she rarely stays mad. Where he is rude and grouchy, she is fun-loving and very sweet. One main flaw of hers is she is a bit two-faced, as in she will pretend she likes someone but secretly she will say mean things about them behind their back. Her brother is Spidereyes, and they have a very strained relationship. They were close up until their parents passed away. Now they never talk, and Dawnshadow does not like to be seen with her brother.

 Strangely enough, Spidereyes is quite large, despite his parents being relatively small. He also has a ton of fur, which gives him the appearance that he's much bigger than he is. This tom has long, thick fur with a smokey gray color to it, yet his face and his legs are as black as can be. He has yellow eyes like his sister, and he got his warrior name for how intense his eyes always seem to be. It's as if they are looking right into your soul. Spidereyes is an incredibly quiet tom who keeps to himself. When he does speak, he's rude, pessimistic, and almost impossible to talk to. Ever since his parents death, he has pushed everyone away, especially his sister, and even he isn't sure if he likes it. He just doesn't know how he could go back to being the happy, curious tom he was before. He'd always been quiet, but he'd also been content with life. Now all he wants is to shrivel up and disappear. His sister is Dawnshadow. He is gay.

 Songpaw is a medium-sized tortoiseshell she-cat with short but thick fur and light green eyes. Her colorings are orange, brown, and black. Songpaw is a shy but loving cat who only wants what's best for everyone. She has a very hard time standing up for herself if someone was to bully her, and she doesn't ever put out her opinions because she is afraid of being judged by others. She follows directions very well because she doesn't ever want to get in trouble. She lives her life in a state of anxiety, constantly worrying that she said or did the wrong thing. Songpaw's mother and father died almost immediately after she was born from the sickness, so one of the other queens fostered her. She was the only kit of the litter.

@stormpetal ;; the way you described him describes a tabico (or a calico tabby). I'm not exactly sure how to explain it but the cat is typically white based, with ginger, and brown tabby. Unless you meant the "tints of ginger" is just how his brown fur looks from a certain angle, then I guess. Sooo, unless you're willing to just have him infertile, or change his description so he doesn't have ginger at all, then that'll be fine.
ALSO, as far as the queen goes, until someone offers her a mate, i'd prefer she not be pregnant for now. she can become so when a mate is given. as there aren't a lot of cats it the clan right now.
edit: tinting of ginger could only really be found around the eyes, nose and maybe paws. which is why the picture used is a definite calico, or tabico, since there are actual patches of ginger and not just tints.

Blackpaw | Apprentice | 11 Moons | Tom
 Blackpaw is a very ambitious and sociable cat. He loves to make new friends, and is almost always getting up to some sort of mischief. Despite this, he gets offended quite easily, and can carry a grudge for seasons. He's very confident, and extremely stubborn. Blackpaw was born to a tuxedo tom named Darkwhisker, and a brown tabby she-cat named Acornlight. When he was around five moons old, it was revealed that Acornlight had been having an affair with a rogue tom named Sleet. Acornlight was exiled from the Clan just after he became an apprentice. Unfortunately, Darkwhisker died in the recent outbreak of sickness. Open for siblings.

 Mossleap is a rather quirky sort of cat. She's very chatty, and will often ramble on about random topics for what seems like moons at a time without realising that nobody is interested. She's very forgetful, as well. However, she's very polite, and hates to feel like she's annoyed or offended a cat. She isn't very ambitious, and is perfectly content with her place in the Clan as a warrior - She isn't clamouring to be a mentor, either. Open for older siblings.
