I personally have mixed feelings on her as a character, but I do thing what she has done was a genuine mistake. She eventually realized she was wrong to follow Tigerstar, in fact when Firestar tried to announce the truth she was horrified. She also had a nice mother/daughter relationship with Mistystar, and I liked how she felt she didn't deserve her forgiveness and that Mistystar didn't blame her for what she's done.
Leopardstar is a very complex character and I do think she's sorry for her past mistakes. I feel like lots of people are too hard on her. She's not perfect but if she was then she'd be a very boring character imo.

I don't really fault her for being an aggressive and hostile leader in general. I just can't get over Stonefur.

Any opinion expressed in a thread will cause a new thread to be created about that opinion.
I'll use this moment to say that I think Silverstream is a poorly written character.
I expect to see an "Unpopular opinion, but I like Silverstream" thread pop up not long after.

Leopardstar deserves far more than what she gets. She was a willing collaborator in Tigerstar’s crimes and basically only got away with it because she was a spineless coward who ran away from Bloodclan and then was needed to avoid instability. She was a leader, she could have fought back against Tigerstar or Scourge, but she utterly refused until she was practically dragged over by the tail. This isn’t even getting into the scummy water hoarding she does and randomly helping out Onestar when he has a hissy fit.
She falls into the same category as Tigerstar’s rogues in that she probably deserved punishment but it was politically inconvenient to do so at the time of reckoning.
