He got Thunderclan to attack Windclan unprovoked during leaf-bare, with the mission of destroying herbs. Which if successful, would of caused many unpredictable deaths, especially that of kits and elders. Also indirectly involved in his sister's death.
Snapped/Snarled at Tigerkit, despite him being completely innocent at the time. Enacted with the Dark forest when he was older, despite fully aware what it was.
Knew about Bluefur and Oakheart's relationship but lied about it.
Then unnecessarily chases kits while they were in clear danger while crossing the river. Which ultimately lean to Stormkit falling in and breaking his jaw.
I know you could it up to his madness... But still.

... but he actually saw the future, it wasn’t made up.
It’s highly suspected that he saw the invasion of Onestar’s WindClan, not Heatherstar’s, but mistook it for the immediate future. Eclipse had just come out before Bluestar’s Prophecy, and Goosefeather specifically noted that they needed to destroy their herbs. That must have been from a flashback of seeing the future WindClan destroying ThunderClan’s catnip. Yes, goosefeather jumped to some conclusions, but when getting a vision of a massive invasion of ThunderClan by WindClan and already going a bit mad it’s hard to blame him.
Of course he wouldn’t tell the truth about Bluestar, he wanted her to to be deputy because he saw Thistleclaw’s future.
I agree that it was harsh for him to be hostile to the kits, that was wrong of him, but I mean, he actually did see Tigerstar’s future- in fact, he might have seen it right at that moment and well... did his usual freaking out.
I don’t think he was a bad cat. Just a misunderstood, ostracized medicine cat who saw a lot of bad things. Yes, I think he could have handled things a lot better but I don’t think he had bad intentions.
