That the Warriors world is pretty small. Like really small- at least compared to us people. I did the rough calculations one day and figured out that according to the scale of the maps and the recorded time it took Firestar and Sandstorm to travel to SkyClan (and taking into account that they had some interruptions along the way and that cats generally travel slower than people), an average person could walk from SkyClan’s old gorge to the lake in about 20 minutes- at a decently fast pace, but not exactly a speed walk.
Like I feel like I already assume this, but at the same time I sorta imagine the territories as, well, I don’t know, bigger. Maybe it’s bigger to the cats, and that perception gets to us... but the places are pretty small.

skyclan to the lake? sandstorm and firestar went from the old forest, not the lake. it took twigpaw and hawkwing and the rest days to get to the lake. definitely more than 20 minutes.
also the territories themselves have to be reasonable large in order to feed all those cats.

I’m just talking about a grown person, and gaging it based on the maps. Looking at the actual maps, i could walk from 4-trees to the river in 20 seconds. Walk along the river in a couple minutes.

Cats at their smallest are 6-8 inches (if somehow they're a Singapura) and your calculations may be correct

I feel the SkyClan distance is off, but the territories are officially only a few acres, if I recall correctly.

Yeah it’s hard to exactly estimate how far SkyClan is cause there’s no map to the gorge, but I personally think it’s not as far as Sandstorm and Firestar make it seem, because they weren’t traveling the whole time. They got swept up in a flood and were wandering around lost for a whole day. They took a bit to chat with Cherry and Sparrow for a bit before finally getting to the camp.
At the most it would take me 45 minutes to walk from one end to the other. When traveling the cats run into dogs, take long ways to avoid twolegplace (they traveled slower in the mountains and even stayed with the tribe for a bit), and took lots of breaks.

Everything is bigger on the map because otherwise it would be too small to see. It’s an illustration

I imagine the territories are bigger than their made out to be . . . and that SkyClan's camp is anywhere between a 2-10 day journey. If it was only one day away, I don't see why they couldn't still be part of the main group.
According to google, cats walk "on average at a speed of 2 mph" and humans walk "about 3.1 miles mph" which isn't that big of a difference, so someone walking from SkyClan's gorge to the lake in 20-40 minutes while it takes a cat however many days doesn't make much sense to me.

The maps aren’t drawn to scale, I think, but it is hard to picture the warriors universe correctly. Like, there’s one city that’s seemingly small between the old territories and the lake, with some mountains a bit off. But where’s that huge city Tigerheart went to? Or the other lake SkyClan stayed at? It’s pretty confusing

For how many Ultimate Guides, Secrets/Cats/Codes/Battles of the Clans that are out, you would think at least ONE of them would have had a full sized map to scale. I already want to know where this Tigerheart city is, or at least a realistic depiction of how far away everything is even with a little mileage maker or something.
