This is going off of Katanaheart's thread: wcrpforums.com/thread/57496/dark-forest-possibilities?page=1&scrollTo=2073776
Basically, it coming up with ideas for Dark forest cats' if their own personal punishments. And I think this would be a good brainstorming technique for your OC, forcing you to really think. So take one of your OCs that will go to the Dark Forest (Could even good a good character if you want to) and come up with their own personal punishment. Here mind:
Snowtuft (My version from fanfic) - Due to him being co-dependence, isolation is much worse for him then most cats. So there would be long periods of time, where the Dark Forest doesn’t need to do anything at all. Once Snowtuft’s desperation reaches its peak, he will start to hear whispers, gradually growing to sightings of a nameless shadowy figure in the mist. It will offer him help, but as he goes over to it, it’ll disappear into the fog again. Then the figure will transition from beckoning to pleading, shouting for him to leave them alone, as if Snowtuft is now chasing them. No matter, which direction he goes, he somehow will keep chasing them. Eventually, within the fog, he’ll see the figure take it’s own life in some way, before he can save them. He’ll then hear the distant whales of what's presumably the family, crying it’s a murder and accusing Snowtuft for it. Causing him to run away, resetting the cycle.
Hazepaw - She’ll often stumble into a scene with many weak/dying cats scattered around, with a singal ‘evil cat’ in the center. Someone, Hazepaw feared would be a repeat of Tigerstar while she was alive. Usually; Blackstar, Russetfur, Palefoot, Snowtuft, Gritclaw or rarely her own sister, Riftshine, among others. Suddenly, Hazepaw would find rotten berries in her paws, assuming they had the same effect as deathberries. She’d feed them to the ‘evil cat’ however they’d have no effect. Then this cat would go to all the weakened clanmates and kill them all, while Hazepaw is forced to watch.
Gritclaw - His biggest fear was to be exposed for his crimes and his largest desire was to go to Starclan. So the Dark Forest would tease him with flickers of lights, which would appears like entrances to Starclan. But before he could enter it, his loved ones like his mate, Riftshine, would block his path. Distraught over what’d he done as if they’d just learnt about it, questioning why he’d lie to them. Before they disown him, claiming he doesn’t deserve Starclan and wondering into the ‘patrol’, vanishing.
Ghostmoon - Nothing is more important to him then being in control/understand a situation. So the Dark Forest would constantly present him with object/scenarios that make no sense. While he’s trying to figure it out, he’s not left in peace. With constantly pestering whispers in his head and hooving unseen presences, making him stressed/paranoid. He always prided himself on always making sense of things, however the Dark Forest making him question his intelligence/insanity.
