Where do our beloved favorite characters go when a series is on hiatus? Do they spend some time in a hotel? Wouldn't it be cool if you were to help run a hotel like that? Welcome to Hiatus Hotel, in which you get to assist any of your favorite characters from a series on hiatus and give them a nice stay.
Think back to a series that recently ended or is on hiatus. I'm sure there are plenty of characters you miss watching in action. Here, you get to play those characters, along with an oc to represent yourself, running the hotel. You get to choose up to 3 characters to play. They can all be from one fandom or from different fandoms or a little of both - that's up to you.
We don't want to spoil anything for anybody, in case someone is interested in checking out one of the series we rp, or isn't caught up in a certain series. With that said, this is basically a chance to see our faves in scenarios we've wanted to see. In a way, this is just a Hotel AU for all these series, but the basic plotlines and titles of the series are known by the characters. It's almost as if they are actors, they're aware of what's been happening in the series, but they're at a hotel as long as there's a hiatus or the series has ended. All is well.
It is important to rp your choice characters accordingly, keeping to their personalities as much as possible.
