The grey warrior looked over the tom for a moment, slightly upset that he'd avoided her question. "The name's Mistfeather. And... yours?" She leaned forward a bit, scowling slightly at the dark-furred loner through the glass. "And do you think there's any way to get out of here?" Mistfeather's eyes grew wide, almost pleadingly. Being trapped with twolegs for the rest of her life was one of the scariest things she could think of, despite the fact that the kit had fed her.

"Thats a weird name." He commented. "I'm Kaden." he answered. His whiskered twitched. He nodded. "There's a way, but it requires one of them." He said, pointing with his tail to the door the twoleg kit disappered. He laid down on the window sill getting comfortable.

"Kaden?" The name sounded so odd and foreign, and she took a moment to repeat it a few times, then looked back towards the door. "Oh, great. Well let's say they actually manage to help me. What would I need to do?" Mistfeather could only assume that since the kit closed the window to trap her, so it was a safe bet that it wouldn't be opening again soon. "I need to get out of here soon..."

"The kids going to open the window for me, and your going to get out when they do." He replied." You just got to get him to come back." He said sheepishly, with a smirk. He was aiding a wild cat?! What was he thinking? This cat would rip him to shreds on any other occasional? He hid his worry. "The kid thinks your cold, hungry. He pointed to the food." He added. "He closed the window to keep the cold out. It's just a kid. He doesn't know any better."

"Kid? You mean the twoleg kit?" She peered back at the door, feeling conflicted. Kaden's idea that the 'kid' was only being nice seemed fair, and it made her feel slightly guilty. But escape was far more important to her than the kit's feelings. "Okay. Should I just... meow at the... the... I don't know what that is. The swingy thing."

"It's called a door. Yeah. With your ears up like this." Getting to his paws. He perked his ears so they were pointed forward. "When the kid opens the door, Meow at him and tilt your head." He added to his original sentence, tilting his head with his ears perked. "It makes you look cute." The kid's going to want to pet you, just remember, the kid isn't going to hurt you." While the kid is petting you, you need to start purring. I'll get his attention from there." He licked his paws and drew it over his ears, knowing what he was asking was throwing the wild cat way out of her comfort zone. He smirked, dying to see her do it. Not hiding how much he wants to see the wild cat have a taste of the domestic cat life. He almost expected her to flat out refuse.

Door, huh? It sounded foreign, even in her head. But at least now she knew the name. At his instructions, she nearly spit with disbelief. "No way. I was grabbed once, I don't want it to touch me again." Mistfeather shook her head, then sighed dejectedly. "I honestly have to act... cute? There's no other way?" Her blue gaze fell back to the door, tail tip twitching nervously. If she didn't hurry, her escape plan would have to wait til morning and Kaden could leave her stranded at any time.

"Not unless you grow opposable thumbs." He said flatly. "If you're mean to the kid, I doubt the kids going to open the window for me. Besides, being petted isn't as bad as you guys make it sound. You wild cats exaggerate the domestic life because you don't understand it. When the kids in the room, I'll call him over to me." He murmured. "You can act cute, right?"

Mistfeather wasn't even going to bother asking what opposable thumbs were, and simply scowled at his grumbling. "I can totally act cute, I just don't want to degrade myself like that." But since it seemed like it was her only hope of getting out, Mistfeather begrudgingly nodded and hopped off of the windowsill. Her long claws snagged in the carpet, forcing her to periodically untangle them on her way to the door. After a moment of composing herself, the she-cat let out a sweet - or at least as sweet as she could muster, given the situation - meow and peered expectantly up at the door knob.

Degrading? He rolled his eyes and watched attentively, his ears perked. The sounds beyond the door paused. It's not everyday you see a wild cat beckoning a human He thought the whole situation was amusing and debated bailing on her and forcing her to deal with the human on her own. He tittered at the thought. It's not like she made him promise. A loud sound made him jump and he was just now aware of the wind getting harder. Greatt The kid looked up from the television, hearing the cat meow. They walked through the kitchen to get into the side room which served as the living room. The kid turned the door knob, opening it and squeezed through, shutting the door behind him. He looked down at the cat, surprised. He tentative reached to pet the cat.

Mistfeather braced herself for the kit's incoming hand, forcing herself to press her thick coat against his oddly shaped paw. It felt odd, and as much as she'd deny it, it felt ok. Not good, not bad. Allowable, at best. Okay, maybe better than that. She forced a gentle purr, flicking her plumed tail as the kit stood in front of the door. Her gaze turned momentarily back to Kaden, giving him a death glare for forcing her to belittle herself to such a low level. She was a warrior, not some kittypet!

Kaden put his fore paws on the window, watching. The minute the glare flashed his way, he tumbled backwards, laughing in a fit that he fell off the window sill. Finding himself on the ground, he got to his paws and jumped back up on the window sill, chuckling. He put his paws back on the window and meowed softly, slowly getting louder. He would've enjoyed the moment longer, but a storm was coming and he didn't want to get stuck in it.
The human rubbed the side of her ears before looking up at the dark gray tom. He stroked the warrior one last time before getting to the window. He fumbled with the bottom of the window with a clack of thunder frightened him. The tom put his head at the bottom of the window and meowed, encouraging the kid to open it. The human opened the window. He gave the tabby a gesture to hold. The tom was in the middle of the window now, he felt the humans warm hands against his fur. Enjoying the warmth he nudged his head against the humans hands purring. He gestured for the she-cat to grab some of the roast that was still by the fire. He knew if he moved from the window the human would close it, and if he stayed in the window too long the human would drag him in.

Mistfeather gave the tom a deeper glare as he fell off the windowsill, thinking for a terrifying moment that he had left and wasn't coming back. But then he was back, signalling for her to grab some roast before hopping out. She nodded a bit, ripping out a mouthful before sneaking up behind the kit, leaping onto the windowsill and out onto the ground below. Her blue gaze flickered backwards, checking to see if Kaden made it away in one piece.

Kaden nudged the kids hand one more time, enjoying the warmth of the house before reluctantly backing away and hoping after the she-cat. It was drizzling now, and the thunder wasn't giving up. "I know an okay place to wait the storm out. There's no twolegs." He piped, hoping she wouldn't want to make her way back to the wild just yet. He wasn't a huge fan of rain, or walking in the rain.

Mistfeather nodded, feeling a mixture of emotions. On one paw, she was relieved to be out of the twoleg nest and free, but on the other paw - it was raining. Of course it was raining. "Thanks for the help. I guess." She was still kind of salty about the whole 'being cute' thing, and made a mental note to groom her coat thoroughly later. "As long as we get out of the rain, I'm happy."

He checked the road for monsters, one pasted by rather slowly, but it didn't stopped to Kaden relief. The mottled grey cat walked across the road, he spotted the warehouse he usually stayed a couple blocks away. He pointed to the warehouse with his tail. He had grabbed the roast from her when she put it down. Having benifted from releasing the tabby from the twolegs. He moved a little faster as the rain got harder, and a streak of lightening came down. The warehouse was much closer now that they switched paces, not that it was that far in the first place. He lead her to the alley that the hole was at. Slipping inside the warehouse, his fur clung to his body and it felt weird to him. He didn't like it. He shook out his fur and kneeled down. The roast was cold and wet, but he didn't seem to mind all to much.

Mistfeather padded quietly behind him, shaking her fur out once they were safely inside. The warehouse wasn't exactly the most comforting thing she could imagine, but it was preferable to the storm outside. At least there weren't any twolegs around to bother them. She settled down beside the tom, taking a moment to question why he'd even help her before tending to her coat. It was still a mess from her journey to the city, and reeked of the twoleg nest. "How in the world do you live around here? I'd much rather be out in the forest than surrounded by twolegs," she mewed between licks.

"Being an alley cat has it's perks." He said, stretching. "Not everyday you run into a cute wild cat." He mused, lightly teasing. He looked over at her, disregarding her question as to why he helped her. "What are you doing so far away from home?" He asked. He didn't tend to his own fur, he just let stay in his state of half-dry and half-wet state.

Mistfeather scowled a little bit, trying to determine what kind of cat she was sitting beside. She brushed off the compliment, if that's what it was, and sighed. "It's kind of a long story. Let's just say that there were some... disputes within my clan. It was best for everyone involved if I left." She wasn't exactly an outcast from her clan, but some time apart was necessary. After a moment, she asked, "So what about you, alley cat? Why're you out here?"

"I go where I please, when I please, I eat whatever I want, not limited to what I can catch." He said lifting his paws. He jumped on a window sill "No rules, No consequences" and then to a self before making his way to the rafters,"Just living." looking out the windows. "Who wouldn't want that?" he mused, a little softer. "Since when did wildcats leave their groups?" He asked, turning to look over his shoulder and down.

Mistfeather watched as the tom leaped away, whiskers twitching. Show off. She listened carefully to what he had said, flicking her tail gently and shaking her head in amusement. "I'm not a 'wildcat'. That's a loner. I'm a warrior, and... sometimes leaving is for the best, alright?" Her gaze turned away from him and back to the windows, wishing she could see the forest from there. "And I'm going back, at some point. There's no way I'm staying here any longer than I need to." The storm contradicted her with a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder. "I'm leaving as soon as the storm clears."

"Alright, Warrior. Are you sure, they'll even take you back in?" He asked laying down in the rafters above her, looking down at her, his paw swinging as the spoke to each other. "How did you get all the way out here. You're rather far from the forest. And the rains going to wash your scent trail away." He added.
