Why hello there. It's kind of odd, making a new thread here. I haven't made one yet, so excuse me if this isn't the best or I don't use fancy coding - I'm just not in the mood right now. My clan is pretty slow right now and since I'm really in the mood to rp, I figured this was the best option. Anyways, I've rambled enough. I want to keep this 1x1 for simplicity's sake, and I hope that we can keep the replies around 2-3 lines each. No stress, just a little goal. I'll dip under that too, so don't worry. Romance is highly encouraged though it's not necessary(mxf please! It's what I've got the most experience with so yeah). I've been wanting to mess around with some of my newer charries, and this is a good opportunity to do so. I don't exactly have any plots in mind, so we can discuss that.
Anyways, enough of my rambling. Join me!

Bumping works I haven't done any 1x1 in a long time but I'm interested. c:
did you want the male or the female character?

Ah, good to know. I'm still getting used to this new forum ^^" And thank you for coming along, I appreciate it. Any ideas on what you'd like to do? (Oh my gosh that's the cutest siggie I've ever seen >v<)
Edit: As for plots, I'm open to practically anything. As for gender, I don't have a preference. You can choose.

oops. my internet fritz out plus I was on the wrong tab how do you feel about the rp being in a city/town? I usually play males in Romance plots, but I can do both.
I was thinking along the lines of one cat being a alley cat or a domestic cat { Cat A } and the other being a wild cat/clan cat { Cat B } who was picked up and adopted and they want out/back to their clan? and it's up to Cat A to get Cat B out ?

Ah, no worries. And I'm not really sure? I've never really done one before, but I'm open to the idea. What kind of cats would be talking about for this?? Loners, kittypets, etc?

I edit my post. I wanted to try something new instead of the loner/clan cat pairing in the forest. but I can do either

Ah, sorry. I should have noticed ^^. But yeah, that sounds awesome! If you want to change things up and be female, then I don't have a problem with that. Otherwise you can take the tom. So let's say they escape and get into the forest, what would they do then? I might be getting ahead of myself but oh well

Post by Deleted on Aug 14, 2016 19:09:49 GMT -5
I didn't think that far ahead. I usually just roleplay it out,
|
|
|
Post by Sparrowstep on Aug 14, 2016 19:14:33 GMT -5
Then we won't worry about it. Which role would you want to be? ]

I'm really indecisive I can play the tom if you don't want it and roles don't matter.

I'm totally down for either, so I'm leaving the decision to you. And I guess I'll take the clan cat, if that's alright? I am going to have to poof soon, so I apologize.

[ Sorry, I was coding stuff. They won't all be these long I swear]
A smokey black tom jumped down from his perch from the rafters inside a nearby, but mostly abandoned warehouse. Twolegs came by very rarely, but when they did, they paid the tom no mind. His paws landed on cold concrete base. The hole in the back of the warehouse allowed the cold winter air to seep through. Crouching through the hole in the siding, he glanced outside. Occasionally a monster or two would frequent the alley. With no monster in sight, he crawled out and perked his ears. Deciding it was safe to advance he shook his pelt in a vain attempt to warm up before moving to the subsection of the twoleg nest. It was dangerous, but every so often he'd find a meal of gold. He moved across the empty stress slowly, his pupils dilated from stress. Reaching the twolegs dens, he began scavenging. His tail flickering in delight when he came across a half-eaten turkey leg. Grabbing the leg he retreated to the roof of the den. Laying down with his prized he looked around, the warehouse was visible from his camping spot. He looked to the twoleg nest next to the once he was on and through the windows saw a twoleg. A small one though, maybe a kit. Losing interest he began ripping whatever meat was left on the turkey leg.

Ah, no worries! ] A battered she-cat slunk around the corner of a building, eyes wide as saucers and ears flattened so far they were nearly nonexistent. Her normally pristine grey tabby fur was soiled by dirt, bits of foliage and, in a few places, blood. The entire area burned her nose - it was all so different and horrendous. She decided she was near some sort of Twoleg nest, since the air reeked of them and their calls could be heard from inside the strange square box. It certainly wasn't the safest place to be, but with monsters around, she decided it was better than the thunderpaths that criss-crossed the cold earth. With a little huff, she leaped onto a box that sat beside the nest, grooming herself carefully with one eye on a nearby window. The last thing she needed was to be see- The shrill cries of a twoleg kit pierced her ears, and she came face to face with one through the thin, invisible barrier of glass. (Still a bit poofy, but do you mind rping the kid, if only briefly?)

The twoleg kit put their paws on the glass barrier that protected the grey tabby. The tiny twoleg kit started screaming and began a repetitive routine of pawing the glass roughly and looking back at the older, taller twoleg. The twoleg kit, unbeknownst to the grey tabby she-cat, was asking it's mother to retrieve the "kitten" outside the window. The older twoleg seemed to blow off the younger kits request and responded no more. The kit fumbled with the middle of the glass barrier, for a seemingly long minute. Finally the kit returned to the bottom of the glass barrier and struggled to lift the window, but eventually it opened. The warm air of the nest seeped out into the cold and the twoleg kit disappered from behind the glass barrier, running into the other room in hopes of returning before the cat retreated.

Thank you very much! ] The forest cat reeled back at the glass barrier was lifted, watching in suspicion as the kit toddled away. Her first instinct was to flee, flee and run as far away as she could. But it was cold outside, and the blast of warm air caused her to second-guess that decision. The warrior knew well enough to not step any closer - the tales of twoleg violence were not lost on her, but in this moment, all she wanted to do was sit in the warm air and wait. Maybe she could spend the night here, on this box? It would be better than some corner in an alley, that's for sure. Her plans were interrupted once again by the twoleg kit, bouncing back into the room. She watched it with a wary eye, not willing to move but also doubting that she should stay.

no problem c:
The twoleg was holding a plate of some of the left over roast they had eaten, still warm, when she bounced back inside the room. The kit made a soft noise, a postive one, as if it was happy the cat was still there. The kit looked around cautiously before they placed the object on the window sill nervously, the movement was hesitated and the kit watched the cats movement, almost like it was scared the cat might lash out at them. The twoleg backed up slowly, eyeing the cat to see if it would try the roast. A loud call from the other room made the kit jump as they looked back wearily. The kit made a noise in return, but didn't leave their spot.

Aww this kid is super sweet and my cat's gonna be like 'bye' later and just leave aw that makes me sad ] The grey tabby watched the kit carefully, stepping back in fear as it placed down the roast. The call from the older twoleg made her jump as well, but she took a hesitant step forward. The food, whatever it was, smelled amazing and made her mouth water. After glancing up nervously at the kid, she took a small bite, whiskers twitching. It was much different than eating a fresh mouse from the forest, but it wasn't exactly bad. Just odd. The warrior flicked her tail happily, taking another bite and dropping her guard. Her instincts screamed that it was a bad idea, but she did it anyways.

i know~ the kids going to be so upset xc
The kid smiled with approval and made a cooing sound. The kit watched momentarily before walking into the other room, only to return with more roast. But the kit didn't have a plate, meaning they'd have to get closer to the cat. The kit came closer, slowly, his the paw outstretched to give the cat some more. The kid thought maybe by feeding the cat by hand, they could build a bond with the cat, like their teacher at school told them. The low mutter of the other twolegs had died down and the alleys were getting darker as most of the other two legs shut in for the night.

The warrior tensed up as the kit's hand extended towards her, the fur on her back rising slightly. But after a moment, her nose decided that it was offering food, which her stomach thought was a splendid thing. With a nervous flick of her tail, she leaned her head forward slightly, sniffing delicately at the bit of meat. Her stomach screamed to take it but her mind yelled the opposite. It was dangerous, but the kit didn't seem to wish any harm on her. After deciding quickly, the she-cat snatched the roast away with a single paw, stepping back with it to eat. It wasn't a good idea, growing comfortable around a twoleg, and she knew that. But if it was offering her food, then she was sure going to take it. (Should the kid grab her or something?)

[ I fell asleep, I'm sorry xc I wass going to have the kid lure her in and then grab her if that didn't work]]
The kid mentally prepared itself for what it was about to do, looking back to see if their parents were paying attention. They weren't. The kid had put the left overs on a plate on the ground. He looked around the living with it's beige walls, a door to the outside was to his right, to his left was a sectional couch with a table in between the couch and the televsion, that sat above the fireplace, that was still going. The kid closed the door to the other rooms of the house besides the kids own room. The kit made its way over with one more strip of roast, but instead of giving it to the cat, he went to pick her up, and quickly put her on the ground before turning to the window to shut it.

Oh hey! I like the new avvie, very nice. ]
The grey tabby let out a yowl of protest as she was grabbed, claws extending in fear. The adventure from windowsill to floor had been a short one, and left her little time to lash out at the kit's chubby arms. Once she was placed on the floor, her claws gripped into the carpet and she sprang away, slipping the table with eyes as wide as saucers. This had been a bad idea, a very bad idea. Now she was trapped in a twoleg nest! Her only comfort was the idea that maybe she'd be able to find a quick escape, but with the window and doors closed, it seemed unlikely. Her fur stuck out in all directions, teeth bared in a permanent hiss at the twoleg kit. She'd been so easily distracted by warmth and food, and now look where she was. Trapped with a bunch of Twolegs!
(Where do you want to bring your tom in?)

When the kid goes to sleep ]]
The kid push the food closer and took a blanket from the basket and put it near the fireplace. The kid went to pet the cat, but seeing her disstressed state, the kit backed off and disappeared behind one of the doors after some of the older twolegs started yowling.
The tom finished his turkey leg fast enough to see the exchange. He could help but purr with amusement after the gray cat disappeared behind the glass barrier. He got to his paws and jumped down on the fence that separated the two nest from each other. The white chest and "scarf" on the tom made him visible at night along with his white paws. The ebony tom jumped down from fence and made his way over to the window sill, he looked quickly around for the kit before relaxing and musing in the entertainment he had found. His tail flickered behind him.

The she-cat peered out carefully from beneath the table, relaxing slightly - only slightly - as the kit disappeared behind the closed door. It's cries could be heard from the other room, unsettling the cat. She scuttled out from beneath the table and dashed over to the windowsill, leaping up smoothly. To her surprise, there was yet another surprise on the other side of the glass, this time in the form of a tom. "StarClan, you scared me. Who are you?" Her fur was raised up, but she felt that her chances were better with the loner outside than the twolegs inside.

"Starclan?" He asked confused. "I think the more important question is who are you?" He asked poking the glass barrier with his white paw. His voice wasn't deep, but it wasn't high. He tilted his head his white muzzle making him easily seen during the night. His deep, bright green eyes looked over the gray tabby and then he looked inside. Seeing the roast on the ground that kit had put down and the warm fireplace. He was almost jealous, but he wasn't ready to give up freedom.
