I hate off screen, green cough deaths, but what I hate more than that is when a character dies in vain. Examples of that would be Yellowfang and Longtail.

I can't get over Snowbush's death. It was stupid. It made him look stupid and Jayfeather look stupid. I did not like it.

i think yellowfang death was very fitting. She's a medicine cat so how else was she going to die? not many options and it showed that she cared for her clan. plus i think she did help some of the elders get out so not really in vain. longtail just died as a result of an accident. not really in vain

I hate when Tigerstar dies. I mean, I know he was evil and mean to Firestar... But did he have to lose all nine of his lives at once? Did he? yes... otherwise it would be crazy and repetitive to have him killed nine separate times in one book. it would make him look really stupid too

Green cough. Hands down. Such a bore. I'm also tired of badger-related deaths.

I hate off screen, green cough deaths, but what I hate more than that is when a character dies in vain. Examples of that would be Yellowfang and Longtail. Honeyfern died in vain as well, she died to bring a reason for deathberries, berries that weren't even used, and a snake that magically appeared and never came back. Ashfur too? If you count the fact that Holly killed him to keep him quiet but then she turned around and revealed the secret, anyway?

Offscreen deaths with barely a passing mention.
Also, I don't like deaths that are not written well, but not really explained. For example, Tigerstar’s I death was written pretty well, but it was never explained why or how he lost all nine lives at once (whether Starclan realized their mistake and refused to heal him, or whether Scourge was just that powerful of a fighter). Especially odd considering something like that has never appeared again, when I can think of a couple scenarios where it could have (closest we got to it was Firestar in the fox trap, but that was easily solvable, and was).
Snowkit’s was another offender. It made sense that he would've not heard the hawk, but I feel like he at least would've seen something, or someone would've grabbed or nudged him toward safety… Not to mention he got killed for a rather stupid reason…

Snowbush's death was really disturbing cause he actually had a reason to live, but we wanted cats in TC die that had no reason to live
