There are some cats I think should be moving to the elders den right about now for example: Brackenfur. He's about 8 years atleast and honestly, most of the cats in TC are a little old to be warriors, anyways, anyone you can think of that should be joining the elders?

Brackenfur, Cloudtail, Brightheart, Thornclaw should have all moved into the elders den at the end of Bramblestar's Storm. Their time is up, lol. What happened to elders being the wisest cats in the clan? There hasn't been a good elders den since the first arc, to be honest.
Time for Whitewing, Mousewhisker (who is this guy), Berrynose, and Birchfall to be the new senior warriors. Unfortunately almost all of them have little to no development...

Littlecloud was 10.1 years old when he died and Brackenfur, Thornclaw and Brightheart are actually older than him. Not by much, but still. The only reason Littlecloud was apprenticed before them was because of Brokenstar. He even died of old age.
This also means that Onestar was over 10 when he died.
I was surprised when Thornclaw became a father at his age. I also remember asking Kate about Brackenfur retiring before the series began and she said he wouldn't this series and that he was still willing and able. Maybe next series?

Brackenfur, Thornclaw, Brightheart, Cloudtail, Squirrelflight, Whitewing, Leafpool, and Birchfall all should be retiring or close to retiring. Hell, some of them should be dead.
But of course, they aren't. ThunderClan is half elder at this rate but they'll all probably continue doing warrior duties as the Erins kill off all the new young characters.

Look, I just need Senior Warriors Whitewing, Birchfall, Berrynose and Mousewhisker. That's all. I dont care bout who moves to what den so long as I get my 4 kids the senior rank they deserve

I haven’t had an “old” cat before. The oldest cat I’ve had was 9. But honestly by the time she was 7 she was pretty frail. Doesn’t matter how much of a fighter she was in the Warriors world, she’d be a pushover by 6 or 7. Could she have technically survived till 16? Of course. But be an active member of the military? Nope.
So honestly I’d think that anyone in the clan over the age of 8 should retire. Not because they’re “old” but because they simply aren’t supposed to be effective fighters unless forced to be in an emergency situation.
