  Introduction
You had heard about a group of cats who lived in the woods for a long time. You even fell asleep to stories of these fierce cats who take in those who need it and teach them to fend for yourselves. Now here you are in their territory hoping that the tales are true. You are down on your luck and haven't had a bite of food since you escaped where you came from.
Then you hear a noise. Pawsteps maybe. Then a beautiful calico with silver speckles dotting her fur steps out from the brush in front of you.
"Hello. Do you need help?" she asks gently as she flicking her solid black ears a little. "I will take you back to camp if you do. Then you can eat and meet my sister, our leader, Darkstar. Oh and by the way I'm Dawnlight. She beckons you forward leading you off into the woods. Rules
1. No spamming. Please don't make this rp an advertising spot for your own.
2. Please remember there are younger members on the site and follow all the forum rules. Also everything needs to be appropriate (no detailed kitting etc.)
3. Tag me in the other section of the joining form @ darkriver13 so I hopefully find it quicker. It will also let me know you read the rules.
4. Try not to have all of your characters related it makes it harder for there to be clan interaction between multiple members. Also no one will mentor their own apprentice character.
5. There doesn't need to be a specific amount of lines per post but please give everyone enough to respond to. When chatting outside of the rp please use (), [], or{} .
6. No cat is perfect so they will miss prey or get injured in battle. They shouldn't have powers or extremely odd color fur, eyes, and no wings.
7. Give others time to respond. You shouldn't automatically have your cat attack and pin the opponent to the ground. Give the other member the ability to have their cat dodge.
8. This is meant to be a fairly active rp. This means members should be posting at least two days a week. Especially for positions of power.
9. Don't text talk and please use proper English. I don't care if its lame it is annoying.
History
PhoenixClan existed long before the Twolegs ever moved into the area. Generations of cats had lived on the land and in the forest coexisting with the loners in the area but they all started to suffer once the Twolegs showed up. Twolegs started to take the clan cats from the forest and those cats were never heard from again. The clan started to suffer from all the losses and tried to recruit any cat they could find to be part of their clan. They began to raise any kits they found abandoned as their own too. Not only were the cats they took in reborn again from the ashes but the clan itself was too. Territory
A large sprawling forest that has a couple rivers running through it. There is a twoleg place on the far side of the territory. A stream bubbles near the camp.
The camp looks like a single giant tree but is actually a cluster of trees that twisted together as they grew and left a large clearing in the middle. At the edge of the clearing there is a small pool that collects from the stream nearby . The is a barrier woven of branches and brambles around the perimeter. The leaders den is made in a hollow part of one of the larger trees and just outside of it is High Branch where the clan is addressed from. There is a tunnel that connects the Elders den and Nursery in case of emergency so that they can hide in a deeper more secure area together. The apprentices den is near those two dens and it is the apprentices job to form a barrier around the youngest and oldest members of their clan in case of attack. The warriors den is near the camp entrance. The medicine den is made out of a large tree stump that sits below the Leaders den.
Moonmeadow- This is where the Medicine Cat and Leader meet with StarClan. It is a Meadow far from camp that has tons of mushrooms that circle a rotten tree stump. When it its a full moon or half moon the mushrooms seem to glow.
The Training Clearing- A soft mossy clearing not far from camp where mentors take their apprentices to train. The trees surrounding the clearing have scores from where cats climbed them during training.
Warrior Oak- This is an oak tree near Twoleg place that every new warrior places a scratch on when they have finished their warrior ceremony. The oak looks very gnarled because generations of warriors have scored it's bark during the tradition.
Shallow Pool- A spot where the river creates a pool in a almost circle area. Kits (with warrior supervison) & apprentices can learn to swim and fish here. Minnows live in the pool and cats learning how to swim should stay away from the edge near the river, it's been known for an arrogant apprentice or kit to be swept into the river by the river's currents.
The Ash Trees- The Ash Trees are a huge group of trees that are a good place to hunt birds, mice, and squirrels. The trees are in a strange circular shape and are home to the occasional adders. They have bitten a rambunctious apprentice every once in a while.

Name- Cream
Age- 3 moons
Description- Cream is a very beautiful she-cat by all means. She has short, cream colored fur that is a touch darker than the normal cream coloring. She has pale brown striping down her back that looks as if the imprint of a ladder was put down her spine with stripes going side to side across her spine and then connecting to one bigger stripe on either side that stretches length wise across her body from her neck fur (which is colored the same color as the stripes) and curves aver to connect to each other right before the beginning of her haunches. Under the ladder like stripes on either side are small dashes that go lengthwise and are the same color as the stripes. She has a few more stripes after that though that are the same color and are not connecting to the other stripes. She has four dark brown spots in a line on her shoulders. Her tail fur is the same darker brown that her stripes are but also has even darker brown striping along it. Her back paws are black and her front right paw is white. She has a white muzzle as well and her eyes are a beautiful, clear amber though she is a touch cross eyed. Her left canine tooth hangs over her lip a bit as well.
Personality- Cream is a nice she-cat by all means. She is bubbly and loves pranks though she doesn't do them herself. She is a little clumsy because of her being slightly cross-eyed but makes a good hunter despite this. She loves the company of others but at the same time enjoys taking walks through the forest by herself so she can just listen to the sound of the trees and the birds and the breeze around her as the scents fill her and the breeze ruffles her fur. This she-cat is a touch shy though and will be a bit reserved upon first meeting a new cat but other than that is a very pleasant and slightly enchanting she-cat to be around.

Age- 7 moons
Description- AlderPaw is a smaller tom, being easily mistaken for a kit because of his size. He has long black whiskers and a black nose while his paw pads are pink. His fur is semi-long, being longer on his paws and tail, and is an alder brown color. He has a black dorsal stripe that starts at the top of head, goes down and along his spine, and then trails up his tail till it stops at his white tail tip. He also has three white paws while his back left one is black. His chest and ears are white and he has a black spot over his right eye. AlderPaw's eyes are a pale green with flecks of amber in them.
Personality- AlderPaw is a nice but quiet tom. His size makes it easy for him to go unnoticed and he likes it that way. He doesn't mind talking with others but feels that when someone does he's being a burden and wasting their time when they may very well have better things to do than talk with a runt like him.

Description- HeavyFoot is a very simple colored tom. He has short, ash gray fur that has bits of white in it on his chest. His front left paw is solid black with a white ring right at the top of the black. His eyes are a pale blue. He is a very heavy built tom with lots of muscle. He makes a fine fighter though his large size makes hunting a little difficult. He has long, white whiskers and pink paw pads and nose.
Personality- HeavyFoot is a stern tom. He is hard on apprentices and kits but just because he wants to toughen them up so they'll make great warriors. He expects everyone in the clan to put in an effort and to do their part in helping out. He is kind though if you're only able to look past his hard shell and see the softy he is on the inside.

Name- SwayingWillow
Age- 23 moons
Description- SwayingWillow is a very thin she-cat with thin limbs and tail and even a thin body. She moves with precise and graceful movements and, at times, it's like watching willow tendrils swaying in the breeze, hence her name. She has semi-long, pale brown fur that gets fluffier on her tail and chest along with thickening around her ears. Her ears, paws, and tail tip are black while she has dark brown flecks along her shoulders, haunches, neck, and underbelly. She has white spots on her paws that go about half way up her legs as well as them being on her muzzle. Her left eye is a dark blue while her right is a pale amber. Her nose is little and pink with black speckles and her paw pads are the small. She has long, black whiskers.
Personality- SwayingWillow is a very kind and motherly she-cat. She hopes to one day have kits of her own but for now makes due with helping the queens and such when she has the time. She enjoys to climb and can sometimes be found at the top of a tree staring up into the sky wondering how big the rest of the world is. Don't let her soft, gentle appearance fool you though, she can be quite hostile when her beliefs or the ones she care about are threatened.

Name- Windrush Age- 25 Moons Description- A lean, short haired tom with dark blue-hazel eyes. He has a white pelt with grey tabby stripe markings covering his body. The stripes get darker and darker as they go down his legs. Windrush has very powerful legs, and has a large barrel like chest. He’s very good at running fast, but gets tired out easily. Personality- Windrushis a very quiet, yet friendly tom. He’s very courageous and is very loyal to his clan. He has a huge heart, and cares deeply for his friends and family. However, he can have a short temper, and tends to get overwhelmed in some serious situations. Personality- Cherrywhisker is a very calm and level headed cat. She’s very motherly, and cares deeply for her friends and family. She has pale brown striping down her back that looks as if the imprint of a ladder was put down her spine with stripes going side to side across her spine and then connecting to one bigger stripe on either side that stretches length wise across her body from her neck fur (which is colored the same color as the stripes) and curves aver to connect to each other right before the beginning of her haunches. Under the ladder like stripes on either side are small dashes that go lengthwise and are the same color as the stripes. She has a few more stripes after that though that are the same color and are not connecting to the other stripes. She has four dark brown spots in a line on her shoulders. Her tail fur is the same darker brown that her stripes are but also has even darker brown striping along it. Her back paws are black and her front right paw is white. She has a white muzzle as well and her eyes are a beautiful, clear amber though she is a touch cross eyed. Her left canine tooth hangs over her lip a bit as well. Personality- Cream is a nice she-cat by all means. She is bubbly and loves pranks though she doesn't do them herself. She is a little clumsy because of her being slightly cross-eyed but makes a good hunter despite this. She loves the company of others but at the same time enjoys taking walks through the forest by herself so she can just listen to the sound of the trees and the birds and the breeze around her as the scents fill her and the breeze ruffles her fur. This she-cat is a touch shy though and will be a bit reserved upon first meeting a new cat but other than that is a very pleasant and slightly enchanting she-cat to be around. He has long black whiskers and a black nose while his paw pads are pink. His fur is semi-long, being longer on his paws and tail, and is an alder brown color. He has a black dorsal stripe that starts at the top of head, goes down and along his spine, and then trails up his tail till it stops at his white tail tip. He also has three white paws while his back left one is black. His chest and ears are white and he has a black spot over his right eye. AlderPaw's eyes are a pale green with flecks of amber in them. Personality- AlderPaw is a nice but quiet tom. His size makes it easy for him to go unnoticed and he likes it that way. He doesn't mind talking with others but feels that when someone does he's being a burden and wasting their time when they may very well have better things to do than talk with a runt like him. He has short, ash gray fur that has bits of white in it on his chest. His front left paw is solid black with a white ring right at the top of the black. His eyes are a pale blue. He is a very heavy built tom with lots of muscle. He makes a fine fighter though his large size makes hunting a little difficult. He has long, white whiskers and pink paw pads and nose. Personality- HeavyFoot is a stern tom. He is hard on apprentices and kits but just because he wants to toughen them up so they'll make great warriors. He expects everyone in the clan to put in an effort and to do their part in helping out. He is kind though if you're only able to look past his hard shell and see the softy he is on the inside. She moves with precise and graceful movements and, at times, it's like watching willow tendrils swaying in the breeze, hence her name. She has semi-long, pale brown fur that gets fluffier on her tail and chest along with thickening around her ears. Her ears, paws, and tail tip are black while she has dark brown flecks along her shoulders, haunches, neck, and underbelly. She has white spots on her paws that go about half way up her legs as well as them being on her muzzle. Her left eye is a dark blue while her right is a pale amber. Her nose is little and pink with black speckles and her paw pads are the small. She has long, black whiskers. Personality- SwayingWillow is a very kind and motherly she-cat. She hopes to one day have kits of her own but for now makes due with helping the queens and such when she has the time. She enjoys to climb and can sometimes be found at the top of a tree staring up into the sky wondering how big the rest of the world is. Don't let her soft, gentle appearance fool you though, she can be quite hostile when her beliefs or the ones she care about are threatened. Personality- Silverfang is a outgoing and passionate cat. He is loyal to his clan and those he considers his friends. He will not hesitate to stand up for what he believes in. He is a bit naive about life and is learning as he goes along. Silverfang is pretty open minded and patient. He can be a little to trusting of others and things things can be solved easily. Name- BatKit Age- Unborn Description- BatKit is a mainly white tom. He has longer fur on his head that covers one of his eyes and he also has longer fur on his tail. His front right and back right paws are black with pale blue stripes on them while his back left paw is pale blue with black stripes on it. Most of his tail is black with the same blue stripes as well. He has patch of blue on his back closer to his tail and a patch of black closer to his shoulders. The blue has black stripes on it and the black has blue stripes on it. His ear tips are also black with blue stripes. The inside area at the top of his front left leg is blue with black stripes. All the blue is the same shade. His eyes are a pale gray with a hint of blue/green in them. Picture (the first picture)Personality- BatKit is a calm but shy tom. He doesn't let his emotions get ahead of him and is wise for a kit. He will sometimes speak with the knowledge of a cat beyond his years but never seems to notice this.
