Let's take a moment to appreciate Leafstar

She was a rogue who lost her mother if I am correct, fully capable of living on her own. Didn't know a thing about living a warrior life until she met Firestar & Sandstorm. She had to start from scratch. Originally she didn't know much about StarClan, used to argue a lot with Echosong, but now she puts so much faith in both her medicine cat and StarClan for guidance. I remember she also used to be very arrogant, but now she's super blunt and won't tolerate her Clan being stepped all over on whenever a Clan needs their help. She's a great leader, one of my favorites, and she's gone so far. She's very underappreciated. I don't think she's a bad leader at all. She's a strong character now and she has matured a lot. I also love how she controls herself. She's just a good character.
