Buying the books, online, through a library, or something else? I'm just wondering because I'm rereading them and I don't own any of the books. I'd like to save money by going to the library, but on the other hand I love having stuff like that.

I think I read the first book by library, but I ended up buying the hardbacks when they came out, and then I just never stopped. Part of me thought that the series would only be 6 books, 12 books, 18 books, but it ended up being much larger than I thought and now I have every single book in hardback sagging the bookshelf x_x;
If I could lend them to you to read them, I would, heh!

I read most of the books from the library! :-D But once I had officially caught up with the series, I started begging my mom to buy me new releases, and I was mostly successful in my endeavor. :-P

Mostly read them from the library. My mom bought me some of them when she saw I loved reading something for the first time, same with my brother so they bought me TPB and Crookedstar’s SE.

I read most of the series from the library, but I decided to buy Hawkwing's Journey, and every book that came out after that.

When I want to read a book I don't have, I commit the sin of downloading a pdf.
However, whenever a new book comes out, I either order it or get it from the book store.

I own the first series - DOTC in person with most super editions besides moth flight and hawkwing’s. I read PDFs of AVOS but I checked out the first two from my library

library, i liked to read it on paper. And since it was so popular i knew that my library would have it eventually so why waste my money on something i could get there.

I first read them from the school library and when they ran out of the recent books I went and bought them myself. Or got them for my birthday/Christmas.

originally from the library when i first found out about these books, but the library nearest to me only had the fourth series (which is the series i started on). i eventually got my own copies of the books after that, and now have all of them except the latest ones (also working on getting all the paperbacks that i have in hardback. the unevenness of them all bother me, just as much as the faded spines do...).

I buy them. I prefer hardcover over paperback though. My local library has all the books, although they're usually on hold.

I own nearly all of the books. They're mostly in paperback, until Sign of the Moon and onward. It was the newest book in the series when I started reading.

I own arcs 1-4, borrowed DoTC from the library, and I read the AVOS PDFs as they're released. I own most of the rest of the books (SEs, manga, etc.), and those I don't, I read from the library.
