Well- I'm writing fanfic about those two. Obviously, this won't be the healthiest of relationships. And I'll be honest, I've not entirely sure how I'll should pull this off. So that are you guys thoughts? How should this couple be interpreted?
Should Tigerstar have any union feelings towards Leopardstar? Does Leopardstar have any feeling whether? Should it be a one-sided relationship? Or is it done solely out of ambition on both sides? A mix of both?
Would Leopardstar be manipulated victim or should she be mates with Tigerstar completely out of her own choose? (Side note: I don't Leopardstar to be a complete victim/push-over. She's stronger then that. Though at the same time, I do acknowledge she is young.)

I think it's still canon that Leopardstar had a thing for him but quickly fell out of it...?

I think it's still canon that Leopardstar had a thing for him but quickly fell out of it...? Yeah in canon but they're full-on mates in this story, having kits together. (Sasha's litter) Not to mention, it's from Leopardstar's PMV and the entire first half of the story revolves around this, so it needs to be in-depth.

I think Leopardstar went into the relationship with Tigerstar willingly and believing that he was a good cat but she was fooled and it became a domestic violence type of relationship. She was too afraid and unsure how to get out of the relationship. She came out of the relationship stronger and wiser. She did not let self pity bring her down. She became a better leader because of it.

if leopardstar had a thing for him it wasn't the books. im always really annoyed that the erins say things without having even a hint of it in the actual writing. leopardstar being in love with tigerstar doesn't give her a reason to merge with him, it just makes her look more weak and stupid

Must of missed that. I'm still not to happy about the idea though it's really not needed. she was a new leader and it was honestly just easier to side with Tigerstar from her point of view. she would have been understandably a bit unsure of herself. plus riverclan has sided with shadowclan in the past. that's really all the explaination needed tbh

And I think it’s a fine reason and wasn’t entirely expanded upon, but I doubt she’d be uncertain of herself. More so for power herself? Leopardstar was also ambitious and far from the more righteous deputies, Timberfur and Oakheart. It has actually been a very long while since I pulled out Secrets of Clans, would you like me to DM you the pages? (I’d have to screenshot them later.)

(I’d have to screenshot them later.) now that you mention it, it's true leopardfur was a bit on the hardcore side as a deputy, which makes it worse that the erins made her in love as the reason. if she really was totally on board with tigerstar's plot and only felt bad after stonefur died that might had been more interesting I have a pdf of the book. I don't have time to read it just now though

I see it as being one-sided. Maybe Tigerstar could've been attracted to her at first and thought they were similar in their ambitions, but he loved power more. Leopardstar would've been blinded by her love for him like she was in canon, only to realize her mistake too late.
Also, Leopardstar wasn't that young. She was actually around the same age as Tigerstar if I'm remembering the timeline correctly.

I don't have time to read it just now though I think she fell in love with Tigerstar’s strength and saw her own ambition in him, rather than the Tom himself. So it would make sense there. Ah, okay! I believe it’s called Leopardstar Speaks: A Deadly Alliance. So you know what to look for!

Katanaheart and mothsnap, it wasn't in Secrets of the Clans, although I suppose it was implied in the book as well as in Fading Echoes after her death, depending on how you look at it. Leopardstar's feelings for Tigerstar were stated in the books, but it was actually only in The Ultimate Guide where it's outright stated.

However, again depending on how you look at it, her feelings for him were implied after she died in Fading Echoes. It was in Secrets of the Clans though, as I mentioned previously it was mentioned in Leopardstar Speaks: A Deadly Alliance. Alongside it being implied in The Ultimate Guide. (And possibly Cat’s of the Clans as I remember something being mentioned there.)

(And possibly Cat’s of the Clans as I remember something being mentioned there.) Except it wasn't. It's just her defending her alliance with Tigerstar. As for CotC, we're treated to this description. TUG—which is an updated version of Cats of the Clans anyway—is the only one where it outright confirms she was in love with him instead of just implying it, or at least implies it much more heavily than the other guides have. As for the main books, her feelings for him are implied here, depending on perspective since I do remember seeing some people taking this as a hint.

1/3 of the reason why Tigerstar became mates with Leopardstar is because he needed heirs since Tawnypelt seemed clearly uninterested and Brambleclaw was in ThunderClan. 2/3 he did it because he loved her.
