That would've been interesting! Maybe that kit would've gone to RiverClan? I'd prefer they weren't in WindClan, since it'd probably be the same situation Violetshine had in ShadowClan -- mistreated and ignored, but Onestar refusing to give the kit away for pride's sake, even if they treat it like trash, like Rowanstar did. If they were in WindClan, though, it might provide a plot with the ragwort, with the third kit sneaking around and giving the herb to ShadowClan and providing insight into Onestar's mental decline.
But I think RiverClan would be best, since they might be a mix of ThunderClan and ShadowClan -- not too strict, not too okay with rule-breaking. Mistystar doesn't seem quite as soft on punishments as Bramblestar and not as mean as Rowanstar. It'd be nice if one kit of the litter came out relatively okay at the end of it all, and was a sort of middle ground for Violetshine's and Twigbranch's life experiences.

I was almost thinking if they had a third kit, maybe that kit would still be with Pebbleshine. Maybe she had to leave Twig/Violet for some reason, who knows. But either way, that would be really interesting. I agree with one being a middle ground for Violet/Twig. Maybe a sort of Tree personality, but not weird like Tree is.

I was almost thinking if they had a third kit, maybe that kit would still be with Pebbleshine. Maybe she had to leave Twig/Violet for some reason, who knows. But either way, that would be really interesting. I agree with one being a middle ground for Violet/Twig. Maybe a sort of Tree personality, but not weird like Tree is. I hadn't even considered them staying with Pebbleshine! That'd be nice, even if it was just a bit longer -- sort of how Twigbranch thought Pebbleshine had left briefly and came back to them gone, but the third kit wasn't seen by Alderheart and Needletail? I would actually prefer if Tree was the third kit...then it'd tie into the plot, rather than some random character. Plus, if we just had to have a character with a power, they'd technically have something to do with the prophecy, but not in a way that we might think, like we had with Violetshine and Twigbranch. If they had Tree's role, then rather than go to SkyClan, maybe they'd make that decision to join RiverClan afterward rather than join SkyClan? Unlike Violet and Twig, they don't have an intense need to be with kin, since they were already self-sufficient (if Pebbleshine still died, maybe a bit later than in canon). |

I think it would be important for a PMV for Windclan during VOS, specially with Breezepelt's 'redemption arc' apparently happening.(Which we may get in Crowfeather's trial, hopefully.) But until, then all we have is: 'Hey look everyone, Breezepelt has a mate and kits now! That automatically makes him good, right? We won't actually show you what he's like a father/mate though. In fact, you'll get barely anything from him during this entire arc. He'll just show up occasionally to have aggressive/snarky reactions to things at Gatherings/Patrols like most Background characters, seemly unchanged from OOTS. But we'll just insist outside of the book that he's somehow better then Crowfeather, who set the bar really high and really hard to beat.". |

I'm thinking this:
there were 3 kits. twig and violet were left alone, but darktail came back and took the third kit...
now twig and violet thing they were the only kits, but they had a secret brother that was taken by darktail. darktail raises the cat to become like him...
