No because that would had made the other clans be scared of ThunderClan and they might even attack them because they have a cat who can listen to their plans, a cat who can’t get hurt and Jayfeather’s power (which I forgot)

Yes, because it would have given the powers more reason for existing (they could have used them more than they did). Not to mention it made no sense for them to go away, when no one else's powers did...

Yes, in an overall scale of things, yes it was necessary.
But I also feel like it took away an essential part of each of the three forcefully, without their consent. It was something each of them had grown up with, and weren't used to living without. I believe that it was incredibly cruel for those to be taken away, just because they were such a key part of each of the three.
