Assuming Bramblestar never told her _and I doubt he did), how do you think Squirrelflight would've reacted had he told her he had trained in the Dark Forest?

probably would have forgiven him on the spot, rather than hold it against him. it was seasons ago, hawkfrost is gone forever, and there is no point to hold it against him.
but it did almost cost firestar a life, so i don't know.
i wish he was just as forgiving tho.

I actually forgot Brambleclaw considered even a moment to kill Firestar. That's messed up. Makes me dislike him even more. I know he chose the right choice in the end, but he was just so stupid about the whole thing in general..

What makes it a bit worse is that the reason he decided not to do it was becuse Thuderclan needed Firestar. Not because murder is wrong in genral or because he was his mate's father but just because he was a symbol for Thunderclan. Shows loyalty to the clan but made me question his morals and his love off Squirrelflight. |

It's so problematic on both sides that I wouldn't have minded if they just stayed friends at best, if even that. |
