The usual. You're free to express your opinions without a debate on this topic. So, the only rule here? Don't debate. It's as simple as that.
1) What's your opinion on him?
2) Do you think he treats cats alright, or is he pretty harsh to them?
3) Do you like JayxHalf?
4) Was he harsh to Leafpool or Squirrelflight or was his reaction understandable?
5) How do you feel about his power being taken away?

1. He's okay, like many cats in this series at this point.
2. He's a jerk, but to me, he's not the worst jerk in the series.
3. I guess, I don't know.
4. It's understandable that he'd be angry...but after how Leafpool and Squirrelflight had already paid for the secret they kept, I think he and Lionblaze being angry with them didn't help the situation.
5. A little strange, to be honest.

1.) I always liked Jayfeather. My favorite of the three.
2.) I think that's just his personality. I kind of knew someone when I was in school who was a lot like Jayfeather. So that reminds me of them and its just a realistic personality. Not everyone in the clan is going to be happy go lucky, and at least he's not evil! lol
3.) I love JayxHalf. I thought it was very unique and Half Moon reminded me of a stable Bluestar or something
4.) Was this the reaction for the big parent reveal? I mean, I think its understandable he was shocked because you think your parents are your parents one day, and then the next it turns out your mom was actually your aunt, your dad your "uncle" and your aunt your mom, and your dad some grumpy cat somewhere off in another clan with your "evil" half brother lol.
5.) I think he should have kept the power. It was unique. It wasn't outright, but more of a walking in dreams power. I thought that was really neat and a way for him to "see".

1) What's your opinion on him? I remember when I first read PoT; I absolutely despised Jaypaw. It made me so angry that the fandom loved him and treated him like the perfect cat when I saw him as an outright pos. He was my least favorite character. Today, my feelings are mixed. Jayfeather has a personality, which is something I can't say about Lionblaze, but he does get on my nerves. I reread PoT a couple months ago, and I still hate Jaypaw. He is the most self-pitying, annoying little brat I think the warriors series has ever seen. Actually, I don't particularly like him at all in PoT. I think his character becomes a lot better in OotS.
2) Do you think he treats cats alright, or is he pretty harsh to them? He is way too harsh specifically as an apprentice. What annoys me most about Jay as an apprentice is when he gets mad that he's being mentored by Brightheart and occasionally Longtail. He acts like he's so much better than them because he was born blind. He doesn't even consider how terrible it must be for Longtail to have been able to see then suddenly that's taken away from him. All he thinks about is himself. I just don't get why he thinks cats aren't going to treat him differently. He's blind! No other cat (besides Longtail) understands that Jay can still see, just with his nose and ears. Maybe if he wasn't so stuck up and he explained that to others, they wouldn't treat him like a child. He's just so annoying as an apprentice; like I could go on for hours about everything I hate about him as an apprentice.
3) Do you like JayxHalf? Not particularly. I found it boring. Half Moon is a great cat though. I just think it's really stupid that Jay acts like Leafpool is such an idiot for falling in love and having kits, when he ends up falling in love and almost staying with Half Moon. He's such a little hypocrite.
4) Was he harsh to Leafpool or Squirrelflight or was his reaction understandable? His reaction was understandable, but his lack of forgiveness was not. It took a whole six books for him to get over it. It's not like him being Leaf's son really hurt him that much. He got made fun of occasionally, and that's it. Everyone in his clan still thought he was a great medicine cat and respected him. I think he was a little bit more right in being angry with Leaf, but I think his anger at Squirrel was unwarranted.
5) How do you feel about his power being taken away? Don't really care much. I liked his power, but he's fine without it too.

1. He's definitely a good character, and is pretty unusual by the standards set by most of the main characters in the series. While most characters are pretty stereotypical "protagonist" types- skilled, optimistic, do most things right, and with painfully clear-cut priorities and morals- Jayfeather sort of steps away from this trope. He is obviously a very skilled medicine cat, so that remains true, and he certainly tries to do the right thing. However, his priorities and the way he tries to achieve what he thinks he needs to do isn't always as straightforwardly "good" as it often tends to be with protagonists. Plus, his inherent selfishness, inconsiderateness, and generally sandpapery personality certainly sets him apart from not only many other protagonists in the Warriors series, but protagonists as a whole. He is also, to put it simply, bordering on verbally and emotionally abusive at times, especially early on in Alderheart's training, and is just bitter and condescending to an entirely unnecessary degree- like Yellowfang taken to the extreme. So, he's definitely a well-written and complex character, which makes him a good character; however, whether or not he is legitimately a good person/cat is a different and less easily-answered question.
2. As mentioned above, he is extremely harsh- not just rough, but to the point of being mean. He goes out of his way to say (or imply) negative things to and about others, and (whether he does it intentionally or just doesn't realize, or doesn't care) make them feel bad about things that they really shouldn't. He tends to be selfish and even somewhat narcissistic at times, very rarely accepting his own flaws and faults or taking blame for his own actions. That's not to say that he never does, but he typically doesn't see the fault in the way that he treats others and thus never learns to treat them any better.
3. No. No no no no no. That entire plot was.... nonsensical at best, arc-ruining at worst. It didn't really make a whole lot of sense, and seemed kind of like a really weird and unnecessary deus ex machina for the sake of answering questions that no one was really asking in the first place. Throw in Half Moon x Jayfeather and just.... no. The characters really had no chemistry or real reason to be into each other, their relationship served no place or purpose in the story except maybe for some kind of incredibly contrived "flavor text", and it all felt very, very out of character for Jayfeather. Couple that with the fact that that entire scenario, in my opinion, never should have happened in the first place and it to me makes it literally one of the worst possible ships in the entire series. After all, even negative relationships have their place and point in the story, but this... was just weird.
Jay x stick 4 lyf
4. It's been so long since I read it that I honestly don't even remember his precise reaction. Overall, I did feel like the entire Clan's response to Leafpool's mistake was... unusual, to say the least. Leafpool was certainly not the first to have a forbidden romance, nor the first medicine cat to have kits. The Clan knew she had run away, and they knew she had chosen to come back. The kits that resulted from that brief mistake were a part of the mistake she was already forgiven for, and that she desperately tried to atone for. However, I can certainly understand Jayfeather, his littermates, and the rest of the Clan being upset at being lied to about the ancestry of that litter. Jayfeather and his siblings most of all, of course- it wasn't the fact that they were born the way they were, but the fact that they had then been lied to and kept in the dark about it. Still, it seems that both she-cats are ultimately forgiven, not only by the Clan but by their kits, so in the end it turned out okay.
5. Again, it's been a long time since I read the series and honestly even when I did read it the entire ending of the Omen of the Stars arc just kind of... became a mess, in my opinion at least (not my favorite series, needless to say). I never really liked the whole "powers" thing from the get-go and honestly like 60% of that prophecy made very little sense to me anyways so my opinions on how all that should have worked out are... well, I don't really have them. I guess it wasn't so bad for him; not nearly as devestating as suddenly losing 80% of your senses or half of your strength, for sure. But in the end... that series happened, it was kinda wacky, moving on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1) What's your opinion on him? I liked him at first because he was funny. But since then he's been an insufferable, abusive jerk. I don't like him anymore. In RoF he was a bit better, but overall he's still an abusive jerk.
2) Do you think he treats cats alright, or is he pretty harsh to them? Depends. Some cats he's worse to than others (IE Twigkit). But overall, he's harsh. They tried too hard to make him a Yellowfang and just filled him with too much grumpiness.
3) Do you like JayxHalf? Neutral tbh
4) Was he harsh to Leafpool or Squirrelflight or was his reaction understandable? While I don't like him, I think his reaction was justified.
5) How do you feel about his power being taken away? He's too much of a jerk to deserve powers, so I don't care.
If it wasn't obvious, I am not a fan of Jayfeather.

1) What's your opinion on him? I think he's pretty annoying to read about because of how rude he is to others. I honestly don't like him must at all. He's nice some moments, but it's only when not being nice would make him completely heartless or crazy. I don't think a character like him is necessarily a bad thing, but he's rarely punished for his bad attitude, the others just accept it because that's how he is, but that's actually just enabling his bad behavior. In the Power of Three he's also unapologetically nosy and snooty.
2) Do you think he treats cats alright, or is he pretty harsh to them? Too harsh like I said. Reading AVOS he can be downright verbally abusive to Twigpaw at times. It's really horrible to read about.
3) Do you like JayxHalf? I don't remember it very well.
4) Was he harsh to Leafpool or Squirrelflight or was his reaction understandable? I don't remember that much either. I just remember Hollyleaf was much to harsh.
5) How do you feel about his power being taken away? It's fine. He never did anything useful with it anyways.

1) What's your opinion on him? - He is one of my favorite cats in the whole series! I love him. He's bold, smart, brave, and strong. His emotions are complex. I love how he doesn't allow his position, others ranks or age, stop him from speaking his mind or challenging unjustice.
2) Do you think he treats cats alright, or is he pretty harsh to them? - Yeah I think Jayfeather treats cats alright. Although he is harsh and very blunt, he does his job really well. Plus, he has has moments where he is more caring and awed sometimes when he heals cats, or helps deliver kits. Jayfeather shows sorrow when not being able to heal his patients. With being harsh to apprentices or others, sometimes they do complain a lot or get in the way of his work. Basically, his attitude doesn't bother me the slightest. I think it's because I like characters like that in other fandoms though.
3) Do you like JayxHalf? - Yes I love Jayfeather x Half Moon! I think they help build each other up and feed off of their strengths. Jayfeather helps give her confidence and shows Half Moon her own worth by giving her support. Half Moon helps Jayfeather see that he is open to love with a mate. Plus they protect one another too. He was willing to give up going back to ThunderClan for her. I love that they reunited for a bit during the Dark Forest battle. I love the Cave in Pointed Stones scene too, and how both can laugh and play together.
4) Was he harsh to Leafpool or Squirrelflight or was his reaction understandable? - I think how Jayfeather reacted was justified. I think with how much cross Clan relationships are frowned upon, they should be this upset. Especially for when the lies went on for a good chunk of their lives. I feel that this is justifiable because Leafpool and Squirrelflight had so many opportunities to tell the secret but chose not to, perpetuating and elongating the problem. And to hear it come out as Ashfur was trying to kill them? Just makes it worse because Hollyleaf was starting to associate the secret with that horrific event (I think? Gotta go back and read). And I wonder how different their lives would be if they were told very young. They probably would've had time to cope and be able to process what was happening, while receiving support from clanmates. I've seen over the years how some of the fandom thinks the length of time it took to forgive Leafpool and Squirrelflight was too long, but for me it was too short. Though I did like that Jayfeather took longer to forgive them. Honestly I think Leafpool and Squirrelflight don't deserve to be at all, but if all cats that were hurt (Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Brambleclaw, Firestar, and Crowfeather) because of the secret feel better for forgiving them, that's good I guess.
5) How do you feel about his power being taken away? - I think it was so unfair that his power got taken from him. He was able to go into cats' memories, which is neat. And also he could travel back in time, and see there! I like also when Midnight told Jayfeather that he had "sight" and knew more, when others didn't. Though, I hated the destiny part where others forced him to choose how to live his life. But I guess not having his powers anymore does help show Jayfeather that he is more than just one of the Three, more than just his powers.

1) I like him. I mean Jayfeather he is clearly a jerk, but I don't mind characters that have flaws, just as long as the narrative doesn't paint them in a good like. It is well known through the books that he can be unreasonably grouchy. I don't love him because he can be harsh.
2) In most instances I felt like Jayfeather was alright (like frightening Toadstep as a kit), but there has been times where he has been unnecessarily harsh (like with Alderheart).
3) Eh, I an neutral on it. HalfJay is okay, but I think the series wouldn't be missing much if that was removed. I am not a big fan but I can tolerate it (even if Half doesn't really have a personality).
4) Well they did lie to him, so I can understand his hurt and frustration. I can't really tell someone how to feel during a complicated situation like that, and in the end he did forgive both his mothers.
5) I like that the powers were taken away, as they were no longer needed. Jayfeather adjusted the best to the lost of his powers, and I don't think he is a weaker character for not having them.

1) Best cat in the history of Warriors. Hands down. 2) He can sometimes be pretty harsh, but deep down he really does care about his Clan and his kin. 3) NO WAY 4) He was angry at them for a while, but he did forgive them eventually and realized that they had suffered enough for their actions. 5) I realize that the war with the Dark Forest has ended and technically he doesn't really need it anymore, but it would've been nice if he was able to keep it.

1.) Jayfeather is a total smol bean and if I could die for him I would and literally NO CHARACTER will take his place as best cat of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Plz forgive me I overreact)
2.) He's overall a good and gifted medicine cat and treats most of his patients decently, unless some of them deserved a sharp tongue like Toadkit. Yeah yeah being grumpy is one of his most popular traits but he gets the job done and, no matter what, he does what's best for Thunderclan. But he's treated like trash in AVoS like he has no heart, so idk anymore.
3.) I really loved the ship at first because it was his only chance to have a good love interest that wouldn't actually last, until he threw that bomb and almost stayed with the Ancients. Half Moon brought out his kinder, more sensitive side that we hardly got to see, and the only other cat to do that (I think) was Briarlight/her death. So I like it.
4.) Jayfeather ignored then and treated them horribly, but within reason like Lionblaze, so I generally think he wasn't too harsh on them. They kept that secret for as long as he was alive, and to have found out must have been heart-wrenching. If he decided to threaten Leafpool's life with poisonous deathberries, however, that would be a different story.
5.) They were really cool powers and I loved reading those chapters when Jayfeather went into someone's mind, but I guess he didn't NEED them. He basically still was the same character before he knew he had powers and after he lost them, so it was not a huge loss, since he was tough enough to do without them. I still kinda wonder how Jayfeather's powers even helped defeat the Dark Forest; he could have gone to reconnect Starclan, find out what's up with the villains, and heal cats without those powers, but I''m glad he at least had them for a while.

1) Love love love, second favourite cat.
2) I love it. It's so nice to see a different mentality every once in a while.
3) No. It was unnecessary, forced, and poorly done.
4) Understandable. Especially given his personality.
5) Seems like a pretty balls thing to do. Like, literally 3 seconds after you took them away, everyone was like "man if only we could have the Three's powers right now"

1. Jayfeather is my favorite character. 2. Even though I do like him, his temper and attitude get the best of him sometimes. He shouldn't be quite as grouchy. 3. I like JayxHalf. It's sweet, but I wish that it was developed a bit more. 4. I think Jayfeather's reactions toward Leafpool and Squirrelflight were justified, although it went on a bit too long. 5. Taking away the Three's powers didn't sit very well with me. I get that Jayfeather didn't need them anymore, but it seemed almost cruel. And we'll never know for sure, but I think that the powers could have been useful in AVOS.
