Yellowfang isn’t really talked about much on these forums, so I want to know everyone’s opinion on her.
I really like Yellowfang, she went through so much in her life and she is one of my favorite medicine cats.

Minus her Super Edition, I loved her when she was alive, as dark as that sounds, she was even my favorite Med. Cat before Cinderpelt. But her Starclan self is just... yeah... I hate how they butchered her in Starclan.

I love her. not much else to say. she was really sweet when brokentail lived with thunderclan. she's pretty much jayfeather done right. grouchy, but not just blindly mean for no reason like jay is which gets really annoying for me sometimes

I really liked her in the first arc, from her snarky attitude to her determination and loyalty. But come Power Of Three and Omen Of The Stars, and she started rubbing me the wrong way, especially at certain scenes *cough*Ashfur*cough. But in A Vision Of Shadows, she's not as annoying as she'd been in Omen Of The Stars.

I like Yellowfang in general, but only when she was alive, hah. I'm not a fan of her staying in the series so much when she passed away years ago. I guess I'm just not a fan of this new StarClan that's all up in everyone's business and is no longer special or mysterious.

I loved Yellowfang in the original series, but I feel like she's changed. She's so inconsistent now. She was described as this brave character who's gone through so much, but now in death, she just seems so... afraid.
I don't like how the Erins forced her to become a medicine cat, either. They gave her a power as an excuse. I also thought her mentor was really harsh with her accepting her fate as well.
Yellowfang was really bland in her book. She had a personality in the original story but in her own Super Edition she's just your typical nice cat. It was a huge let down for me. I still think that the book itself was alright, I just wish her character was handled better.
Yellowfang turned from brave to a coward. She was afraid of the Dark Forest coming, so paranoid that she ruined other cats' lives for it. For example she wanted Jayfeather to tell Cinderheart about her true self, which really hurt Cinderheart.. if I am correct StarClan was angry with Yellowfang for this. Yellowfang wasn't thinking at all, and it just doesn't seem to be her character.
I also don't like how she claims she's ThunderClan but at other times she helps ShadowClan. I think recently in AVoS she helped ShadowClan? It's just really inconsistent, I don't like her, and the only time she did redeem herself a little bit, just a little bit, when she scolded Twigbranch for going to the Moonpool.
But other than that, I just don't like her. She's a very inconsistent character who went from interesting to bland. Wasted potential.
