Are there any particular moments you liked in the series for drama's sake?
Some that come to mind are: WindClan's succession crisis.
Crowfeather and Leafpool's relationship.
The original Three being the kits of Crowfeather and Leafpool, as well as the infamous Gathering scene.
The infamous fire scene.
Darktail being Onestar's son.

the prologue of twilight and the building up tension of cinderpelts death throughout the TNP arc was incredibly enjoyable to me

The only reason I don't put POT as the worse executed arc on my list is because of the drama, it was crazy, that and because DotC is just horrid. But there were so many dramatic climaxes in POT, it pretty much kept us on toes. Squirrel revealing she's not the three's mother, to Ashfur's death, and ultimately the gathering scene, it was all pretty crazy. I think things weren't that exciting until Darktail's attack on the clans.
