I decided to reread Warriors for the very first time and I'm on Fire and Ice. Honestly, I'm in the minority here being that I don't care for how repetitive forbidden romance is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I wouldn't have minded Fireheart x Morningflower. I thought their interactions were nice.

I'll be honest, even though I don't like most of not all forbidden romances, if Sandfire hadn't ever become a thing (Not that I wouldn't want it to either), I'd totally be down for the MorningFire couple idea if it had been expanded on. Having reread Fire and Ice as well I found it endearing how Fireheart really cared for Morningflower the whole journey back to Windclan territory, he even wanted to see her in the nursery with Gorsekit, which I found rather sweet.

She had a son named Gorsepaw, right? For some reason I've always had a soft spot on him and Morningflower.

I'm conflicted. It would be sweet but I just can't see how it would work out. Also, we know almost nothing about Morningflower - not her past, not her character traits besides being a good mother and grateful to Firestar. So I don't really ship it.
