Hello! I'm almost all finished up, I'm only having issues with the lore, ways of wording things. I can reserve spots now if you would like though. My problem is every time I make some major progress with the page, it glitches and deletes whatever I just worked on. Also, I have issues getting images to show up in posts.
How would you guys like me to handle lore? I have some of the gods lore, mostly The War of Fire and Ice, but I wanted to allow those of you who claimed Gods to be able to add their origin stories and lore and such so I had a submission system. Like, if you wanted to add lore, then you could write it and I would put it on the page. If you were to want lore, but didn't want to write it, then I could write it. Something like that.
Any Advice?

orangeeyes JekyllHey so I suddenly stopped being active and I'm really sorry about that. I lost inspiration and got busy with school and all of that. There's really no excuse for just leaving high and dry. Nonetheless, with summer coming and my graduation on the cusp, I was looking into starting this back up after looking over some of my old designs and the draft of this page I never posted. My friend made graphics and everything. So if you guys are down to pick this back up, let me know. If not I'll just keep working on it in my free time. Let me know!

Basically, there are twelve gods (Possibly thirteen) who all have different powers, Six are Benevolent six are fallen and it's a race between their pupils, because each one has a student with their power, to find their respective gems. Plots can vary yadda yadda. The gods are I think on page three and the territory is in there as well. I can elaborate on anything you need me to. Sorry, that's such a gross summary.

I know I claimed Velox, the Storm God and the pupil of Vilicus, the Psychic God. Other than that I think the only other claimed god was Coryza the Ice Goddess.
The way I decided to do claiming and stuff is that one member can have one pupil and one god. I may adjust depending on activity.

I actually had no idea which god to pick, so I listened to music and wrote what element each song reminded me of then tallied them up. So that's what worked for me! I may still have the list somewhere.

Here is an example of the form filled out. I'll just use my own pupil and show her off a bit

Pupil of Vilicus
Amethyst - Psychic This she-cat is very tall and fluffy. During the day her fur appears to be black, but upon further inspection it can be seen that her long coat is actually a midnight blue like the deepest shade of the night sky. When darkness falls over the land, small specs of light are known to dot her fur like stars over the night sky. There are lighter rune-like markings around her eyes and on her back, shoulders and sides. Nightshade's eye color is normally that of a luminescent green that starkly stands out against the rest of her fur, but when she uses her psychic abilities, they change to a glowing electric blue along with the insides of her ears and markings along her body. Her ears have two nicks in each one that are symmetrical. At her most basic, she can make small things levitate and form a blade of energy around her tail and use to slice through objects and eventually fire projectiles. She's not there yet and won't be for a while. She must maintain perfect focus to use her powers which makes it difficult for her. Nightshade didn't always go by her name, originally her name was Munnin. This was a name she was given as the second in command for a group of cats called The Messengers. She rose to her position quickly, using her tactical mind to aid these cats who she saw as family. Once she heard of the leader's plans, she deserted. It was here that she discovered her powers. She picked the name Nightshade for the beautiful flower and deadly berry that came attached. Now she does her best to be better than she was, and discover who she really is. Nightshade is generally levelheaded and tactical, thinking almost everything through, sometimes to a detrimental extent. This doesn't mean that she isn't one for fun and is actually a very warm cat, even if she isn't very open about her upbringing. Sometimes she gets too caught up in her head and thinks everything is her fault. Gets caught thinking everything is about her sometimes. Deep down, she also falls hard and fast for cats and has a hard time getting over them. A paralyzing fear of fire. Roleplayed by Corax Okay, it's lengthy but it's allowed to be. It's just the basics of her character. How she looks, what she can do, where she's from and what she's like.
Just generally, the pupils are allowed to have a mystical element to their appearances, the sparkles on Nighty and her rune markings that glow when she uses her powers. Just as long as it's not too crazy. If you're not sure just ask me. I would say try to make it unique to their element.
I know that's a lot and I may edit this at any point. As a fun thing, I like to include rumors that others may have heard about the character. Helps to spurr conversation. Maybe I'll add a segment for reputation. To be honest, its all still really in planning. |
