When it comes to preference, I've always liked Ivypool better. She's totally relatable, being pushed to the side while her sister basked in the glory, turning to a not-so-good alternative to keep her mind off it. But I agree with you there about Violetshine, in the fact that her character is more complex. It was more interesting to read about her growing up in a hostile environment than read about Twigpaw being pampered and mollycoddled by Alderheart and getting herself into messes for the sake of her own self.

Ivypool, but Violetshine is okay, and honestly, Ivypool never attacked her own sister, so there's that. Nor took so long to turn for the better, but Violet has room to grow still. Ivy right now is a respectable warrior, with a loving family, and I like that. But I'm also eager to see where Violetshine will go too, hopefully not as bad as her sister.
