There's a lot of close family killing other family members...Sleekwhisker helping murder her mother is both fascinating and horrible, because it highlights just how far gone she is. After all, she did kidnap kits, threaten to murder Tawnypelt, etc.

And Bramblestar killed his own brother, Hawkfrost, twice. (Raggedstar also killed his own father, Hal, while Yellowfang has killed her own son, Brokenstar, twice.) But I don't believe we've had a case where a child killed their own mother, which honestly is more disturbing than all of the above. Especially considering Dawnpelt was a genuinely good cat, that only initially stayed because of her kits. So for one to help murder her, or at least indirectly, is rather ironic and tragic. *sigh*
