Despite AVOS probably being one of the most controversial series yet, it’s definitely been the most entertaining to talk about.
Cause let’s be real, most of us wish the series had ended at some point by now- whether it should have ended at book 1 or The Last Hope, or somewhere in-between, it seems to be common opinion that this series feels “extra”.
Which is kinda interesting because on one hand it’s produced a lot of pessimistic and salty discussion- on the other I think the fandom has been the most lighthearted and silly it’s ever been. Sure, a lot of people still take the series seriously- but even the most loyal people here have just kinda... “thrown in the towel” and just aren’t taking things seriously anymore. Or even if they are still serious, expectations have gone out the window.
And I kinda like it. Cause I feel like, for once, everyone- whether your a radical Millie supporter or hater- are all united in the complex crazyiness and whirlwind of emotions AVOS has brought. When the going gets tough, we’re just kinda giving up on old debates and just cracking jokes.
