i am gonna make stuff up on the spot! HURRAY! welcome to another one of my great long posts
- For time line sake: i'll just explain stuff from the Leafpool's Wish era and going forward.
- Leafpool ends up telling Firestar and Sandstorm about her pregnancy.
- Neither parent is truly shocked since she did just run away with a Windclan tom and came back only a few days later. Firestar then tells Brambleclaw as well. Squirrelflight already knew since Leafpool confides in her first.
- So Firestar, Sandstorm, Brambleclaw, and Squirrelflight, all help Leafpool decide what to do with her kits since she is the medicine cat. Firestar is quick to claim that they can't punish Leafpool because she's their only medicine cat and they clearly need her. Sandstorm agrees with this. Squirrelflight suggests to raise them while Leafpool does her medicine cat work. Brambleclaw then argues that if the other clans find this out, especially Windclan, they will be in trouble. Firestar kind of agrees, but he says they'll do everything in their power to keep Leafpool and her kits safe from the others.
- Brambleclaw then questions if the rest of Thunderclan will know. Firestar then asks Leafpool if he should tell the clan and ask them to keep this all a secret. Leafpool says she is scared some cats will not trust her ever again as medicine cat, but Squirrelflight comes to her defense and says she'll never let any cat speak bad about her without receiving a blow to the face.
- Firestar and Brambleclaw then hold a clan meeting and tell the whole clan. Leafpool then speaks for herself and she begs the whole clan for forgiveness and that she will not let her kits get in the way of her medicine cat duties. There is some weary comments among the crowd. Firestar adds that Thunderclan has a duty to protect all kits born to them, and that Leafpool's will be no different.
- Some clan cats (i cant decide who would fit this action best...maybe thornclaw...?) argue that the kits will be half clan and that that has caused problems in the past. Some older cat brings up Graystripe's half clan situation with Silverstream. Firestar of course defends Graystripe because Graystripe himself isnt there to defend himself. This causes the clan to argue amongst eachother
- Firestar takes control again and demands the clan listen to him. They will all keep this secret and protect the kits like any other kit. The clan then settles and agrees at last.
- After the clan agrees to keep leafpool and the kits safe, leafpool is accompanied
- Later on, the kits are born. Leafpool names them: Jaykit (in honor of crowfeather, whose name is also a bird), Lionkit (named for the bravery the kits need in order to live as hidden half clan cats), and Hollykit (named after the holly bush she used to meet Crowfeather at at the border).
- After realizing Jaykit is blind, Leafpool decides she will personally look after him just to get him used to the medicine cat den so he can be her apprentice. Firestar is a bit neutral on the idea, but Leafpool insists that since he is born blind, it'd be harder to train him as a warrior. Firestar confides in Brightheart, and Brightheart agrees that it'd be harder to train a cat who was born blind because unlike her, she remembers what its like to see, and she can still see out of one eye. Firestar then lets Leafpool take in Jaykit.
- As the kits are being raised by the other queens, Leafpool visits them sometimes to nurse them or clean them. Leafpool isn't able to nurse them for long, since she has to go back to the medicine den. She only nurses them when Ferncloud has to nurse her own kits or if Daisy is busy.
- Squirrelflight helps Daisy, Ferncloud, and Sorreltail raise the kits. Squirrelflight is there to watch them whenever Daisy or Ferncloud are busy with other kits or are out eating or something.
- Firestar has decided to keep the kits hidden by not announcing them at gatherings.
- When the kits' eyes open, Leafpool takes care of Jaykit and lets him help her in the medicine den.
- By the time the kits are ready to be apprenticed, they had grown up knowing Leafpool was their mother, but that since she's a medicine cat, she was unable to raise them that much. They saw the other queens and Squirrelflight as their moms. They basically feel like all of them are their moms, which would be cute.
- Before their ceremonies, Leafpool, Firestar, Squirrelflight, and Brambleclaw talk to them in private. They explain to them about their real father, and that they were not allowed to tell any cat who their father was. The only cats they could trust or were allowed to trust was thunderclan only.
- Jaypaw becomes Leafpool's apprentice. Hollypaw's mentor is Brackenfur. Lionpaw's mentor is Spiderleg. (Ashfur gets Mousepaw instead).
- As the three kits train for a while, Firestar eventually tells Leafpool, Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, and Sandstorm about the prophecy. The group then decides not to tell the three about it yet. They want to wait and see what their powers are.
- At their first gathering as apprentices, the three are protected by thunderclan, and thus, no other clan cat ever has the chance to truly meet them or ask who they were.
- Leafpool tells Jaypaw that if he ever has special dreams from Starclan or that something else happens to him, he should feel free to tell her. As his mother and mentor, she lets him know he can trust her in more ways than he imagines. This makes Jaypaw comforted in knowing he could confide in her about anything.
- Squirrelflight tells this same thing to Hollypaw and Lionpaw just to gain their trust as their mother/aunt figure.
- Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Jaypaw come together to discuss why the adults were acting weird about them. They speculate why it was so important that they all knew they could go to either one of those adults.
- Later one night, Jaypaw has a dream. A voice tells him a riddle. Realizing he can see in his dreams, Jaypaw takes forever to figure out the riddle. The voice then reminds him that if he solves the riddle, he'll get something wonderful. Jaypaw solves the riddle after going through a maze of thorns and almost falling off a cliff. Jaypaw learns a lesson and then says out loud the solution to the voice's riddle. A bright light comes over him and the ball of light flies into his chest. The light takes over Jaypaw's body and then slowly fades. Jaypaw then sees a portal in his dream and he goes through it. He then realizes he can go into other cats' dreams and he can also visit starclan at will. as he leaves leafpool's dream, he is in the weird astral plane space between starclan and the dark forest. before he can explore the dark forest, Spottedleaf comes to him and introduces herself. She congratulates him on gaining his power. Jaypaw then asks what the power is for. Spottedleaf says she can't tell him the reason why yet, but she warns him to never venture into the dark forest, for thats where only bad spirits reside. Jaypaw promises to never go there, and then he wakes up.
- Jaypaw debates on telling Leafpool. He then thinks about telling his siblings first before he tells leafpool. He then goes to the apprentice den and takes his siblings out of camp to tell them about his dream in private. after learning about the dream, lionpaw and hollypaw are excited and they think they will get a dream soon too. Jaypaw then says spottedleaf didn't tell him why he has this power now. lionpaw and hollypaw both agree to keep jaypaw's dream a secret. jaypaw then says he has to tell leafpool about it. lionpaw and hollypaw suggest he does so they can get a fully trained medicine cat's opinion on it.
- after telling leafpool, leafpool then tells firestar, squirrelflight, brambleclaw, and sandstorm (i'll just call this group firestar's council). Firestar then expresses his fear for this dark forest that was in jaypaw's dream. leafpool is too, for no starclan cat told her about it before. firestar tells leafpool to take jaypaw to the moonpool and get answers on it.
- as leafpool and jaypaw leave for the moonpool, that night, lionpaw has a dream. but it isnt the same dream jaypaw had. instead, hawkfrost comes to him, saying he is there to give lionpaw his powers. Lionpaw is tricked, and he goes with hawkfrost to the dark forest. there, tigerstar appears and immediately, he begins to question lionpaw about his lineage. lionpaw doesnt want to tell them about his half clan lineage, as he gets suspicious of these cats, but before lionpaw was antagonized more, spottedleaf appears as a bright light, which scares the dark forest cats. she retrieves lionpaw and takes him to the astral plane between starclan and the darkforest. spottedleaf then scolds lionpaw for trusting the infamous tigerstar. after looking it was tigerstar, lionpaw becomes very frightened. spottedleaf tells him to not trust any other cat he meets unless they are bright with stars like she is.
- after he wakes up, he tells hollypaw.
- meanwhile, at the moonpool...leafpool and jaypaw have starclan dreams, but using his power, jaypaw goes into leafpool's dream and they can talk to starclan together. there, bluestar's spirit comes to them and she explains to them the threat of the dark forest. here, bluestar spills the beans to jaypaw about the prophecy firestar received long ago. jaypaw asks if he can tell his siblings, and bluestar says he can, but it might get in the way of how they receive their powers. jaypaw asks why he got his powers first. bluestar says that his power will unite the medicine cats in times of danger.
- after the two come home, hollypaw and lionpaw have already told the firestar and his council about lionpaw's dream. leafpool is scared and she goes to comfort lionpaw by giving him licks.
- time passes with mundane training and clan life, etc
- after some conflict with windclan, lionpaw receives his riddle dream. in his dream, jaypaw appears and says while he cannot help him, he will be there to support and be his indirect guide. lionpaw hears the voice and gets his riddle. after going through a dark cave maze, and solving the riddle, lionpaw receives his power. he has also learned his life lesson too, which was to trust his brother. the voice explains his power is to fight really good and have the heart of a lion in the face of darkness. lionpaw feels a surge of energy and he feels in his heart that he can do anything without fear.
- After the dream, Jaypaw takes lionpaw to the astral plane space. he shows him the entrance to starclan as well as the dark forest. he then tells lionpaw that this is what they need to fight against. Lionpaw questions how he knows this, and jaypaw tells him about the prophecy.
- after waking up, they tell hollypaw, firestar, and the council.
- Hollypaw then goes through an emo phase where she is anxious about not getting her dream yet. she goes through some angsty feelings, as well as also feeling special compared to everyone else.
- hollypaw has a fight with everyone. the fight even involved crowfeather being their father, because at the last gathering, they got a chance to see him for the first time and see how rude he was to his son, breezepaw. leafpool is hurt after this argument, but she lets hollypaw run away anyways.
- after getting into a fight with her siblings, leafpool, firestar, and the council, hollypaw goes to sleep in the forest after having "run away from home." there, she has her dream.
- it is extra difficult for hollypaw to figure out the riddle and learn her lesson. the voice demands she faces her problems and figure it out for herself. Hollypaw is terrorized by foxes and other harsh elements in her dream and she is also surrounded by darkness. eventually, hollypaw learns to humble herself after the voice has harshly scolded her and asked her personal questions. hollypaw faces her problems and finally solves the riddle. she then receives her power, which is to spot out lies and see beyond. (so basically she has dovewing's powers as well as being a lie detector).
- after her dream, she goes back home and apologizes to her siblings, firestar, and the council. leafpool apologizes to her about the crowfeather argument, and hollypaw eventually forgives her as well.
- After everyone had their powers and were in on the prophecy, firestar tells them to master their powers and begin special training.
- while they are training, tribe cats come down and beg brook and stormfur to come back. with the tribe cats there, that is when lionpaw and hollypaw begin being tricked by dark forest cats in their dreams. hollypaw is tricked by hawkfrost, while lionpaw is tricked by a new dark forest cat who tries to disguise as starclan.
- jaypaw uses his power to try and stop the dark forest cats from tricking his siblings, but he is attacked by brokenstar's ghost. using his power, jaypaw is able to unite his dream with his siblings' dreams and they are all together. here, lionpaw uses his powers to fight off brokenstar, while hollypaw uses her powers to see if these spirits were evil, as well as to scout for danger up ahead. after escaping from brokenstar, the trio wake up in their nests. jaypaw goes to them in the apprentices den and asks if they were alright. after knowing they were fine, jaypaw has them meet with firestar and the council again.
- lionpaw reports that the dark forest cat he met tried telling him to get rid of the tribe cats. firestar then decides that the three of them will travel with squirrelflight and brambleclaw to the tribe's mountain and help them out. Leafpool is furious at this, and says her kits were too young for such a journey. firestar insists he has faith in them and that this will be a chance for them to use their powers for good.
- stormfur and brook say their goodbyes before leaving with squirrelflight, brambleclaw, and the three. firestar has Brackenfur stand in as deputy in brambleclaw's place. Brambleclaw and brackenfur have a moment before they leave.
- i forgot to mention that graystripe and millie still do come back...! so graystripe is sad to have stormfur leave him, but stormfur says he'll be happy with his mate brook. graystripe eventually lets him go in peace.
- on the journey, hollypaw's power becomes very useful and hollypaw matures as a character as she learns to help others with her gifts.
- lionpaw goes through some development on this journey as well, and he learns that just because he is strong, it doesnt make him unstoppable or something.
- jaypaw watches over the dreams of everyone at night when they stop to sleep.
- one night, jaypaw runs into brokenstar at the border in the astral plane space. he hisses at brokenstar and that the dark forest will never be able to win against the bright forces of starclan. brokenstar says that while jaypaw is gone from the lake territory, he and his dark forest cats will take over the clans by the lake and manipulate everyone.
- jaypaw awakes and tells his siblings, squirelflight, and brambleclaw about this. he insists he has to go back home and warn firestar and leafpool to tell the other clans about this threat so no one will be manipulated by the dark forest and leave their faith in starclan.
- lionpaw and hollypaw encourage jaypaw to expand his powers and try to reach leafpool and firestar in his dreams the next night. jaypaw says he can't since he's so far away, but hollypaw tells him that she believes he can do anything.
- after getting to the tribe, stormfur, brook, and the other tribe cats come together to drive away the intruding rouges. after one tribe cat asks where crowfeather is, squirrelflight says he couldn't come with them. this causes the three to act a bit weirded out by it. the three then ask squirrelflight and brambleclaw to tell them about their father. after learning what kind of cat he is, the three decide that maybe it was best they never know their father.
- one night in the mountains, jaypaw is visited by ancient tribe cats. they help him reach leafpool in his dreams. after leafpool learns of brokenstar's plans, she tells firestar. firestar then tells the clan that leafpool had a dream from starclan about the dark forest threat. the cats are then scared to sleep. firestar tells the clan he'll tell the other clans about this at the next gathering so they can unite agains tthe dark forces.
- after succeeding in reaching leafpool, jaypaw collapses from exhaustion.
- the clan cats have to stay in the tribe for a little while because jaypaw needed to recover.
- while in his rest, jaypaw is able to see memories. he sees crowfeather and feathertail, and the events that happened in Moonrise.
- after jaypaw awakes and he is better, the clan cats leave the mountains.
- one night on their journey back, jaypaw manages to reach out to all the medicine cats back at the lake and he shows them the dark forest and tells them of the threat at large. he then urges the medicine cats to help their leaders believe firestar at the next gathering. mothwing is confused because she doesn't believe in starclan, but jaypaw is able to show her that it is real. mothwing then questions her beliefs, and says that she still doesnt want to meet any of her ancestors, since they would be related to tigerstar. but jaypaw assures her that tigerstar himself is in the dark forest and is unable to cross over and see them right now. after mothwing agrees to help the other medicine cats convince their leaders, jaypaw wakes up.
- the next night back in the clans, the clans are going to the gathering. firestar and leafpool come together to tell the clans about the dark forest. this is when the other medicine cats and their apprentices come forward to confirm this. the other leaders argue amongst themselves about this. firestar is then forced to reveal the three and the prophecy. leafpool tries stopping him, but he says this was important. after learning he has kits with leafpool, crowfeather is outraged. he calls thunderclan a bunch of liars for hiding these kits for so long. he then says they were probably not his and that all of thunderclan are just delusional. crowfeather's words rally the other clan cats to be suspicious. the medicine cats, however, try their best to convince everyone that thunderclan is right about the dark forest. after learning the three had powers, the medicine cats tell the clans that jaypaw unite their dreams and they all met and saw the dark forest for themselves. this causes other random cats to speak up and say they were visited by cats they thought were from starclan, but they tried to get them to stop believing in starclan.
- the clans argue for a while until squirrelflight, brambleclaw, and the three come back home and get to the gathering on time.
- the three learn what firestar has revealed, and they are all shocked. leafpool then goes with her kits to confront crowfeather. crowfeather, nightcloud, and breezepaw fight with them. this causes onestar to tell his clan to attack the thunderclan cats
- a fight then ensues between all four clans at the gathering island.
- starclan covers the moon with clouds and it begins to rain. a bolt of lightning strikes the middle of the lake. the clans go back home.
- there, the rest of the clans back home are being told about the big news
- thunderclan are scared of sleeping still, until leafpool makes everyone take poppy seeds
- the next day, windclan attacks thunderclan in their camp. this is when the eclipse happens. the eclipse allows the dark forest to come to the land of the living. familiar bad cats come from the ground and begin fighting the living. the cats cannot believe they are fighting spirits. the three then have to save their father, crowfeather, from brokenstar.
- crowfeather still refuses to accept the three as his and that they were imposters. hollypaw uses her power to see that crowfeather is hiding his true feeling sand he is living a lie. crowfeather breaks down and says he is in too deep to change now. hollypaw and crowfeather have a moment before hawkfrost comes and slices crowfeather down.
- jaypaw has to drag crowfeather to thunderclan camp so leafpool and save him.
- leafpool and crowfeather argue as she heals him up. leafpool says she has no regrets when it came to him, and crowfeather curses at himself and wishes he didnt still love her. he then apologizes. jaypaw hisses and says he should apologize to all his siblings as well.
- lionpaw and hollypaw are still fighting off the dark forest cats.
- firestar and tigerstar have a short confrontation until the eclipse goes away and the spirits fade.
- after this, windclan apologizes and leaves. crowfeather apologizes to the three and leafpool again before going home. he later then breaks up with nightcloud.
- moons pass and the cats spend their time fighting off dark forest cats in their dreams. but no one knows that breezepaw has been taken by the dark forest because of how crowfeather left nightcloud.
- the three get their full names, lionblaze, hollyleaf, and jayfeather. and breezepaw becomes breezepelt.
- one night, jayfeather is visited by spottedleaf in the living world, and she leads him to the moonpool so he can talk to bluestar. they get attacked by breezepelt and brokenstar. spottedleaf and jayfeather have to fight them off. breezepelt then tries to kill jayfeather, but Breezepelt is stopped by Hollyleaf. Hollyleaf beats up BReezepelt and uses her power to mentally mess him and send him home.
- Hollyleaf is unable to see spottedleaf, but she goes with jayfeather to the moonpool.
- using his power, jayfeather has his dream with hollyleaf and they meet with bluestar. bluestar says that breezepelt has been starting his own faction in windclan and that theres cats there that meet with the dark forest every night to train and get better at fighting.
- jayfeather and hollyleaf report bluestar's news to firestar and the council. firestar then goes himself, with the three in tow, to windclan. there, they confront breezepelt, but breezepelt and his followers deny it all and stay hidden. firestar warns onestar that if he doesn't watch breezepelt, something bad might happen to them all.
- jayfeather then has another scene where he meets with the medicine cats in their dreams. him and mothwing have grown closer since now mothwing begins to believe in starclan. she is now able to receive messages on her own. willowshine says that this was easier than going to the moonpool to meet each other.

- in this meeting, jayfeather just updates the medicine cats on what's going on with firestar and the council, and all the dark forest fighting thats been happening.
- later, cinderheart comes to lionblaze, jayfeather, and hollyleaf with the news that she's been visited by dark forest cats. the cats who visited her in her dreams have begun to taunt her about her leg and how she will never have firestar. cinderheart says how confused she is and that she didn't know why she was being targeted.
- this is when leafpool reveals that she believes that cinderpelt had been fully reincarnated as cinderheart. as cinderheart has an identity crisis about this, she spends a lot of time with jayfeather and lionblaze. in order to calm her down, jayfeather gives her poppy seeds.
- one day, honeyfern is found dead. berrynose is distraught by this and he says its his fault he didn't tell someone that honeyfern was having nightmares, and that she didn't realize they were dark forest dreams this whole time.
- jayfeather is so moved by berrynose's plea for justice that he uses his powers that night to go to the dark forest. once there, he is confronted with a cat named mapleshade. mapleshade then says how she was the one to kill honeyfern. jayfeather then demands she explain how she got to the dark forest. mapleshade gives her backstory, but then explains that she'll kill any she-cat alive that has a happy relationship like the one she never got to have. in anger, jayfeather begins to fight her. as he begins to lose the fight, he calls out to lionblaze for help.
- lionblaze had just fallen asleep when he is pulled into jayfeather's dream. together, the two brothers fight mapleshade, but they are stopped by tigerstar. lionblaze tries to fight him too, but tigerstar scares them away with shadow manipulation.
- when the brothers open their eyes, they are now in starclan. lionblaze asks if they died, but jayfeather says no. they are greeted by bluestar, spottedleaf, and yellowfang. the three she-cats then tell them to never directly go to the dark forest alone like that. jayfeather then asks how they will defeat the dark forest then if they couldn't go there. bluestar then says that perhaps theres another way to do it. a way only the three can come up with.
- the next morning, lionblaze is awoken by cinderheart's yowling. he goes and chases after her into the forest. she says she was attacked by a cat named darkstripe.
- lionblaze comforts and calms her down. he says that if she has a dream with the dark forest again, that she should run until her will to escape brings her to starclan instead.
- during another night, breezepelt and his windclan followers attack thunderclan camp. jayfeather feels helpless because he can't fight in the real world like he can in the dream world. hollyleaf steps in to rescue jayfeather, and hollyleaf and breezepelt have another show off as the rest of thunderclan wakes up to defend themselves and their camp.
- lionblaze ends up saving cinderheart from a she-cat named heathertail. heathertail is revealed to be breezepelt's mate, and that she had to stand by his side as he suffered from knowing he had "disgusting" half clan siblings.
- Lionblaze and heathertail fight. lionblaze almost kills her in his rage, until Squirrelflight steps in to stop him. Squirrelfligth chases heathertail away and tells her to go back to her precious mate.
- Firestar loses a life to breezepelt. after he is healed up by jayfeather and leafpool, firestar has his warriors capture breezepelt and hold him down. some cats go and get onestar. firestar forces onestar to punish the betrayers in his clan. onestar then proclaims that breezepelt wasn't the true leader of the attack, and that he himself ordered it. he says how breezepelt was right and that unloyal warriors like crowfeather, who had halfclan kits, were the reason starclan never blessed them. firestar then threatens to have breezepelt killed right here and now. onestar says to do it since windclan was giving up on starclan. firestar begs for him to explain why this sudden drastic change of views. onestar says he was tired of thunderclan always getting everything and also for always saving the day.
- firestar has his warriors take breezepelt into camp and tell them to guard him to make sure he doesnt escape.
i have to go eat dinner, so i'll finish this again
got lots to write. i noticed just now how i left out some minor events like the tree falling in camp and about briarlight. so i'll just make it so some of those things dont happen or something!
