Personally, I really miss Firestar. The series just feels off without him. He's such a big deal to the books and now he's just... gone. I mean, he's there in StarClan and used as a character once in a while, but it's not the same.
I never cared for her, but it also feels strange how Spottedleaf is gone, too. She doesn't exist anymore, spiritually or physically. It's just really sad.

I really miss Firestar. He was such a good leader, idc what anyone says.
I also miss Cinderpelt, Hollyleaf, Mousefur, Purdy, Ferncloud, Sorreltail, and Foxleap.

They’re not dead but i miss Brightheart, Cloudtail and Brackenfur’s personalities tbh

I miss Firestar, as you said he was such a big presence in the series. I also miss Dustpelt, a strong warrior who challenged the leader's decisions occasionally without being too mouse-brained about it or wanting power. I miss Mousefur as well, for being that lovable, cranky yet well meaning elder.

I miss Firestar so much. Other cats I miss are Longtail, Blackstar, Tallstar, Whitestorm, Sandstorm, Ravenpaw, and Leopardstar.

I miss there being actual elders in ThunderClan. Like Mousefur, or even Purdy. Graystripe and (shudder) Millie are kind of boring elders compared to the first series when there were lots of elders to entertain kits and apprentices. And give solid advice (and sometimes grumpy advice) to the younger warriors.

I miss most of the original characters that have since died
Firestar, Sandstorm, Dustpelt, Whitestorm, Lionheart, Bluestar, Mousefur, Longtail, Ravenpaw, etc.
They made things really interesting, and the background characters actually had interesting, unique personalities, unlike now.

I miss my boy Firestar. he was an amazing leader, and things just aren't the same without him.
i also miss pretty much everyone from the original series. goldenflower, frostfur, dappletail, runningwind, lionheart, whitestorm, bluestar, willowpelt, speckletail, and so on. the first arc has the best over all cast and i just miss how things used to be.
