While on another topic, an idea surfaced in my mind.
It probably is nothing but is interesting nonetheless.
Lionblaze, Hollyleaf, and Jayfeather.
Tigerheart, Dawnpelt, and Flametail.
I’ve always seen these six as interesting parallels but that is not what I really want to talk about. (Unfortunately I do not remember much interaction with Tigerheart from Lionblaze in TFA. But it is likely both sides of the six trying to disassociate from the others, as they were no longer kin.)
It’s rhe possibility of Jayfeather dying that I want to talk about.
With the death of Flametail, it merely seemed like a tragic accident, especially since Hollyleaf was still alive at that time.
But then Hollyleaf dies, and now so does Dawnpelt.
As the order of those dying doesn’t matter, one thing seems to actually matter, the eldest of this litter lives. (As both the only she-cat in both litters are now dead. As is the medicine cat sibling on Tigerheart’s side.)
Meaning it is highly possible Lionblaze will live, as he is the eldest of his own litter.
This probably all means nothing as normal, but it seemed interesting when I thought about it. Also I have not read ROF yet, so I’d appreciate no spoilers.
