She had been given a plate with some of her favorites. Her mouth watering, she dug in and had started to eat when Gwyn had walked in. Not even noticing he was there till his voice rang out, she looked up running a napkin across her lips. At first she looked completely lost but finally hearing his whole spill, Evelyn sat her napkin down.
Iro raised his head a low growl rumbling in his throat. Who let in this blubbering bimbo? Raising her hand at him, his rumbling growl ceased. Sitting up in her chair, she cleared her throat," Its Queen Evelyn. Secondly, I'd love to see your performance."

(Sorry that took so long! Trying to work on homework too -.- ) Njorin Valin - race: Elf - Relationships ( kin, husband/wife, gf/bf, dragon ): None living - Rank: Royal Guard - FlamePetal Dragon His dragon (Sona) died in the war. Vitanya Amanta - Her eyes are supposed to be green, not brown. She can fight, but the outfit she's wearing isn't what she normally wears. It was just the closest I could find in terms of hair and face. - race ( human or elf ): Elf - Relationships ( kin, husband/wife, gf/bf, dragon ): Parents live in the kingdom. Dragon is Svartor. - Rank: Lady in Waiting. - FlamePetal Svartor - Rider: Vitanya - FlamePetal (I'll probably make a human later too.)

Gwyn had to admit, his cheeks pinked when the Queen corrected him. He felt Ammie tighten her grip around his waist and her voice hiss in his brain, You fool, Gwyn!. He could only bow down again, slightly more erratic this time, and apologize profusely. ”M-my sincere apologies, My Queen!” He straightened back up and looked at her with wide green eyes. Well, now he had to perform, and his pointed ears were hot with embarrassment. ”My, uh, performance is made up of magic and music, and I have the help of my assistant.” Ammie made her appearance, unfurling herself from Gwyn’s waist and moving up to wrap over his shoulders and stare at the Queen. Ammie then slipped off Gwyn’s shoulders and wafted forward in the air, she scooped an apple up into her mouth, and brought it back to Gwyn’s waiting hands.
Gwyn held the apple up for a moment, before he brought it down to his chest. He held it in both his hands, covering in completely, and when he opened them a single blossom laid in his palms and the apple had disappeared. He reached up and placed it behind his ear, ”Tell me, My Queen. Do you believe in magic?” Around them were dragons and majestic crystals they were real and in front of them. But magic was different, it wasn’t something that could really be seen – it was something different altogether.
Gwyn untied the knot around his neck and let his cloak fall to the ground. His brown pants were slightly bagged, and he had fabric tied up by his ankles to make the pants around them flat. His white cotton shirt was tucked into his pants, and he wore a green and gold vest over the top. He certainly fit the part of a travelling magician. On his back, a strap secured a harp. He pulled it off and handed it to Ammie, who grabbed it in her hands. Ammie was small, and so was the harp – it was made just for her. It made his act unusual from other magicians. Few people had seen a harp-playing dragon.

The Queen watched as Gwyn's dragon came snaking out of his cloak and made her way to the table. She watched as the dragon plucked a bright red apple from the table and then make her way back to her rider. A small smile danced on her lips as he performed. Leaning forward she waited for him to open his hands and a blossom laid on his palm now.
Smile growing wider as he placed the blossom behind her ear, and her hand went up as a few of the guard started to make their way to them in fear of what Gwyn might do. But Evelyn sensed no harm would come from this elf that stood before her. "I believe in magic as much as I believe I dragons," she admitted shyly. She felt as though she were a kid again, being lead around by the guard as she explored the grounds of the kingdom to see all its wonders.
Iro rolled his eyes and kept a careful watch on Gwyn. Although Evelyn let her guard down, his was still actively up. You're acting like a hatchling Evelyn, he voice sound rough but she could feel a chuckle rumble from the dragons throat.
Turning her attention back to Gwyn, her eyes gave a slight sparkle as he handed his dragon a small harp, small enough to fit her hands as the serpent gripped the harp he had placed in her hands. "A dragon that can play the harp, what a sight to behold," she commented.

( sweetclover1 I think you can use control+click to get the same options as a right click on mac. Also, I'm sorry about the test. Maybe it went better than you think! Sometimes I feel that way and then I'm pleasantly surprised, haha.) Njorin was on duty in the throne room when the queen came into the room. It was near the end of his shift, but for the moment he remained at his post near one of the doors. The visitor Gwyn had initially put him and all the other guards in the room on high alert and while they were still ready to spring to action, there seemed to be no immediate threat. Njorin's eyes drifted to the magician's dragon. Sona, Njorin's dragon, had been a similar color albeit much larger. Once again the emptiness he'd been fighting threatened to overcome him and he clenched his fist; the one that bore the mark from imprinting with a dragon. He wasn't sure how yet, but he was going to avenge the death of his dragon. Just then his replacement came to relieve him, but he lingered in the throne room a little while longer to see the rest of the magician's show. He didn't know much about magic, but it certainly intrigued him. Vitanya made her way from the castle to the city surrounding it. Sitting still was not one of her strong suits and she'd spent the last several days in the castle doing various tasks that were asked of her. As a result, she'd become a bit stir crazy and had asked for the morning off. Dressed plainly in a belted tunic and a cloak about her shoulders, Vitanya was not easy to recognize as a Lady in Waiting to the Queen. People didn't treat her differently when she was dressed this way and she liked it. Svartor was soaring high above in an attempt to avoid unwanted attention though Vitanya could feel his presence at all times. At the moment she didn't have a particular destination in mind but wound up in the market looking at everything from baked goods to weapons and armor to jewelry. Get me something shiny, came Svartor's voice in her head as she examined the necklaces glittering with large gemstones. As if you need more, she fired back, rolling her eyes. Svartor's laughter rumbled in her head.

Fresh from the sea, Aaron walked around the village surveying the place. He had just gotten back from a years voyage and has not come back empty handed. For in his ship laid lots of goods and treasures he would be selling quit soon.
Humming a soft tune he had learned from the folks he had met during his time out, he came across the black smiths table. It was still there, even after a year of being gone the beautiful sword still was up for grabs. He thought of the price as it was no wonder it was still there. The sword its self would cost and arm and a leg and when his eyes first rested upon the sword his pockets on held dust. "Aaron," the black smith greeted him shaking his hand. "Back from sea? How was your journey ?"
With a warm smile, he shook the mans hand respectfully. "I was an adventure. I've bought lots of goods back and are willing to give you a few free things if you lower the cost of that sword," he answered. Extending his hand, he point to the sword of the sailors dreams. It was a well crafted sword made of black iron for the blade and the handle was made of blue sapphire and silver. The blade itself had small blue sapphires embedded in it.
The black smith picked the sword up handing it carefully to Aaron. Holding the sword he let the weight of it rest in his hands. Looking over he saw a beautiful woman making her way around the village herself. Once she came closer he cleared his throat," Miss, do you think I may be worthy enough to yield this sword?"

"A dragon that can play the harp, what a sight to behold," she commented. While Ammie began using her short but sharp claws to start pulling at the harp strings - creating a melodic sound in the air - Gwyn grinned in response to the Queen's shyly spoken words. "Well, My Queen, I too believe in magic," he stated. From a pocket in his vest, he pulled out what appeared to be a hot ember, and in his palm, it flared into a small flame. It radiated heat, but when one touched it, it didn't burn. It was a peculiar ember - perhaps it was magic... perhaps it was illusion. And he performed various other tricks - some tricks in making things disappear and then having them reappear in other places (like from behind a guards ears). His movements were filled with energy and bounce - it was almost like a dance. The music playing sure made it seem that way. By the end of the performance, he raised his hands up in the air and then dramatically bowed down low. "I hope I served as some entertainment for My Queen," he felt his heart thudding from the excitement of having made no mistakes in his performance. It was something he'd been practising for years. "Remember, my name is Gwyn the Magical - and I'm always at your beck and call," he finished, standing up straight with a broad grin on his face. His frosty white hair fell into his face, and his green eyes were bright with life.
'You performed well,' Ammie's voice sounded in his head as she moved back to wrap over his shoulders. Gwyn silently thanked her.

{ Already saying sorry because I know these will be rather short due to be writing a paper atm. }
Matt was standing guard in one of the corners of the throne room. He had been watching the magic show himself and was at one point apart of it as the young man pulled a coin from behind his ear. Shifting his legs that were growing tired due to the fact he had been on duty since midnight. He was long awaiting his replacement so that he could go off and eat and hopefully get some rest before his next shift.
Evelyn had enjoyed the magic show. It was kinda sad when he had finished due to the fact she was really entertained. Without giving much thought to it , she stood up and smoothed her clothes out. Iro's head raised as his rider stood. "Well, Gwyn the Magical. How would you feel if I offered you a job here at the palace performing ?" She questioned him.

(Njorin is also in the throne room and is open to rp. I can also move him if necessary.)
Leaving the jewelry, Vitanya had continued along the street and eventually come to the blacksmith. She was admiring a dagger when she realized someone was speaking to her. Looking up, she glanced at the man and then to the sword in his hands. "It is quite an impressive sword," she commented, stepping closer and studying the sword. The stoned embedded in the blade glittered in the sun and she was struck by the irony that something so beautiful could also inflict much pain and suffering.
Straightening up, she faced the man again. "The one to wield it would have to be very strong and courageous," she mused. The man certainly looked strong; she could see the muscles in his arms working as he held the sword. "The strength I do not doubt you possess, however I do not have the pleasure of knowing you well enough to speak to your courage," she answered finally, a small smile playing on her lips. "In fact, I do not even know your name." She looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to give his name.
Be nice and stop playing with him, Svartor said as he made a slightly lower pass over the town to get a better look at the sword and the man holding it. Of course he should wield the sword, just look at him! Vitanya glanced up and suppressed a smile at the dragon's comment before turning her gaze back to the man.
