To get back to the topic at hand, I'm not fond of this couple and I'm neutral on it. But at the end of the day I don't really care too much. They're both happy together and at least there was development leading up to them becoming mates. I also thought some of their scenes were cute and it's harmless if not annoying how it seems Fernsong's personality revolves around Ivypool only. But again I don't care too much about it so Fernsong's personality doesn't bother me much at the end of the day.

The hate for this couple is just so strange to me. I agree it's unesscary but it's kind of sweet and adds to Ivypool's character at least.

I adore IvyxFern. It's a couple that is very healthy and happy. Both cats are a perfect match imho. Fernsong softens Ivypool's tougher side, and it's really nice to see a tom that is as gentle and sweet as Fernsong; he really lives up to the cat he was named after.

I saw someone saying ivyxfern was homophobic because ivypool is a “lesbian icon” and it kinda rubs me the wrong way. I would have preferred it if she stayed single, sure, and I don’t care much of ivyxfern but calling it homophobic bc of people’s headcanons is weird and gross. There’s a reason they’re headcanons and not canon. As for the fact that they’re related, I think the Erin’s honestly forgot who his parents are but also they’re cats idc if they’re humanized they’re still cats

I really haven't seen hate for this couple. Weird. Well, you might not see it here, if so rarely, cause it's a controversial topic, like Ashfur and Mapleshade, also Needle and Clear, lol, so the mods usually do their job and squash it. But on sites like tumblr, reddit, and wattpad it's openly hated on with some ridiculous reasoning behind it. |

I remember Climbtothestars actually calculated it, and confirmed they're less than 1% related, and in an isolated Clan that's pretty darn good. |
