Rewriting books

I'd rewrite YS and take out the abusive crappy tedious nonsense that is YellowRagged.

I’d like to rewrite the Original Arc, cleaning up the inconsistencies and odd voice changes that happen with each different writer taking the lead. I’m sure there’s a universal errata list not to mention wish list of corrections and tweaks to the original arc, as well as a proper epilogue (with no influence from what came afterwards in the sequels).

While I’m on a rant, Ideally, I’d love for it to be a reboot of the series so that instead of Blood clan and scourge showing up and killing tigerstar, he lives on as a threat with Shadow Clan. The series timeline can be stretched out and given more time for character development as well as in-depth stories without introducing the cast of War and Peace and the gods of Olympus. No new prophecies, no Firestar quest, no dark forest no sense, no cats version of A Sixth Sense, no sacrificing characters for lazy plot. I try to get into the new books but they are like peanut brittle. Tasty at first but eventually your jaw starts to hurt, your teeth are glued together, and you never want to look at the stuff again.

Re-writing The New Prophecy sounds hard, but i have lots of AU ideas concerning this one. If I could fix this arc, then the arcs to follow would definitely be better..(*cough*powerofthreebeingwastedbecauseofruininghollyleaftoreplaceher*cough*)

I would rewrite TPOT by getting rid of all of the supernatural elements (powers but leave Jayfeather's intact, Place of No Stars/Dark Forest). There's a lot of other things I would do that are too long to list, but I would definitely do that.
