I like him, if only because not only was he a new character with actual personality (gasp! unheard of nowadays...), but he was also a change in the current cast of characters and their consistent monotony/cardboard cutouts.

His scenes with Jayfeather absolutely killed me. I have never laughed so much reading a Warriors book. And it gave us another dimension to the relationship between Jayfeather and Alderheart. It was the most hilariously petty thing I've ever seen when Alderheart got his revenge on Jayfeather. It will really be interesting to see what effect this has on their relationship long term.

I love him. His personality is great along with his Jayfeather interactions. Though I'm probably a bit biased being that 1. My current cat is named Fuzzball (Fuz for short) and 2. They both have the same pelt color and relative same personality. Idk why i'm biased about little things like that.
