Your thoughts on her relationship with RaggedStar?
I want to know what people thought of it. He was kind of a jerk to her most of the time. Even if she had a point. I hate how they try to excuse his behavior because he never knew his father.
I just got finished reading Yellowfang's secret because curiosity got me. It was as bad as I thought it was going to be.

I hated her relationship with Raggedstar. YS was a terrible book in general, but RaggedxYellow is probably my least favorite thing about it. Yellowfang deserved better. It just makes me even more glad she found a home in ThunderClan.

I kinda rambled about him before as part of my complaints to the SE as a whole but to put it in simpler terms, Hate it, hate Raggedstar. He's an emotionally abusive, manipulative prick to Yellowfang and, compared of what I've heard about him from her (Noble and just and all that in ITW in comparison to how he is in YS), it's a strong case of extreme character butchering alongside Yellowfang.
She deserved SO much better than that trash.

When I saw Raggedstar's behavior in Yellowfang's Secret, I was surprised (and a little dismayed) to see that this so-called great ShadowClan leader turned out to be a jerk, especially towards Yellowfang. So I wasn't really that sad for him when Brokenstar offed him.

Raggedstar was a brutish thug who happened to become a leader because Cedarstar felt sorry for him. The only good thing about him was the immense irony of getting killed by his son who he himself made into a monster by spoiling him and indulging his worst instincts.
