What do you guys think of him, is he underrated? Overall opinions?

I think for the character he is, he is underrated. He's not focused on a lot, he doesn't show up a ton in the books so people probably don't pay that much attention. I thought he was a decent character, and his story during Tallstar's Revenge was good.

He's one of my fav cats, and the only cat I'd pick over Mudclaw as leader of WindClan. That one time he was ready to beat the tar out of Tigerstar was my fav.

Deadfoot would have been a better leader than Onestar. I did enjoy his story in Tallstar's Revenge.

I really liked what we saw of him. He was determined, and kept going when the odds were stacked against him (like when other's doubted his ability to become a warrior, or helping his clan keep Windclan together when they had been chased out.) He seemed reasonable and every time there was a scuffle, you could see Deadfoot's reasoning (like Fireheart constantly being on Windclan territory or being suspicious of Shadowclan). Also his friendship with Tallstar was adorable in TR.
