So, while on my usual browses through the Warriors wiki, I've noticed Reedshine and Darkstar are held by two cats, who seem to be the same character:
warriors.wikia.com/wiki/Darkstar (There's a 3rd Darkstar. Though it's a tom who's from Skyclan, so clearly isn't connected.)

And with Reedshine especially, the two cats seem identical, both described to be orange she-cats. The two Darkstar do have different pelts, with one being dark brown (CofC) while the other is black (MV). However, with the massive inconsistencies with designs, it still doesn't make it impossible for them to be the same cat.
So what do you guys think? It's also noteworthy the CofC Reedshine has an apprentice, called Splashheart, who's said to become the next Leader after Darkstar. Assuming he's probably the leader who was succeeded by Volestar in Goosefeather's curse.
