In that part maybe. Like at first I thought he was just referencing to "the sparks that remain" (Sparkpaw) but know I've been thinking it could mean darkness?? Darkness as in Darrktail. When there's no Fire there is Dark so hopefully you find some Sparks that are left from the legacy and shine a path.

I feel like the prophecy is asking: Who is going to save the clans now that Firestar is gone? Even though heroes have come and go, Firestar has always played a part in protecting the clans one way or another. This is officially the first series where Firestar won't be involved at all- at least physically.
But it could mean anything, really.

I have a feeling that the prophecy is referring to what Firestar left behind after he "burned out", metaphorically speaking. This most likely means his legacy, and by extension, his descendants. Since Alderpaw and Sparkpaw are the newest additions to the family, and were involved in the quest, it could refer to one or both of them.
If it does, I'm not going to be very happy; it's too predictable and spotlight-ish.

I think it also refers to Firestar's legacy, probably more Sparkpaw considering her name has spark in it, but if it was something else I would enjoy that too probably a lot better. It could mean something like the Clans have to save themselves and not wait to be saved by some special cat Sparks makes fire though. |
