Or what name would YOU like to have seen her get?
I just pray that if Millie hadn't objected to her new name, that Firestar would have learned something from SkyClan and not gone ahead and named her Milliestorm or something
Ehh.. Dawnheart? Dawn = new life and heart = courage and loyalty in her new life? Because despite all the Briarlight stuff, we've got to remember Millie has adapted very well to the life of a warrior.

I mean, I like the name Dawnheart but as far as a character goes, Millie is pretty unexciting. For example, I didn't think she was as old as Graystripe was, which was why that was odd that she retired. But that's true, unlike Daisy she has been accepting of the warrior status. (Which is also why I think they should have changed her name anyway, Stormcloud had his name changed to be a warrior)

I'd hope that Princess would react to Briarlight's injury better than Millie, but it's just as well, 'cause I'd hate for her character to be ruined. Most likely from my Ship discussion board. I remember I mentioned the pairing, and yeah I do agree, that Gray and Princess would have been a much better scenario than him and Millie. |

I'm not exactly sure (I could obviously be wrong and the source was uncreditable) but I remember that someone told me Kate Cary would have liked Millie's name to be Silverwing or Willow-something if it were possible.

I dunno about using Silver because Silverstream is the other cat Graystripe was with. I know there's a Hazeltail already, but there's something about the name Hazelstep I like.

I remember a long time ago I saw someone headcanon her warrior name as ‘birdsong’ and i haven’t been able to see her as anything but with the bird- prefix
(Bird does not look like a proper word to me right now. I am weirded out)

I wouldn't have minded her having the prefix Silver, because it's like having Silverstream back, except now he gets to stay with his mate and kits… In my headcannon, her name is Silverlily…
There was one story I read where her name was Willowfoot, and another where her name was Silverheart. Still another story had her name as Flowerheart, because she realized what was happening to Blossomfall, tried to make amends, but Blossomfall died in battle before she could. Mille then took on the name Flowerheart in her honor… It was very sweet, if a little cliché…

Isn't Birdsong a SkyClan elder tho? Birdsong was a RiverClan elder. Also, repeated names are nothing new for this series.
