Another overused suffix is -claw. Brambleclaw, Tigerclaw, Thistleclaw, Amberclaw, Blackclaw, Brindleclaw, Ebonyclaw, Ferretclaw, Frostclaw, Jayclaw, Juniperclaw, Mudclaw, Nettleclaw, Oatclaw, Owlclaw, Pineclaw, Plumclaw, Red Claw, Reedclaw, Rowanclaw, Shrewclaw, Stoneclaw, Thornclaw, Voleclaw, and Whiteclaw are all of them.

There are just some suffixes that are 'Jack-of-all-trades' sotospeak. As in they go with almost anything and thus are used the most out of anything else.
-claw, -tail, -fur, -pelt, -whisker, maybe even -heart and -flower, all are traditional suffixes that go with near any prefix and thus are used the most. Though there are times where there are better, non-traditional alts for names instead (COUGHSparkfireCOUGH). But otherwise, those are used a lot because they fit with many many prefixes, and there's nothing stopping one cat from having the same prefix/suffix/both as another and so on.
It's reusing prefixes that it becomes an issue, not because of the idea itself, as that is bound to happen with the way Warriors naming is (And truth be told there's bound to be a person or cat with the exact same name as you/your character/some other character. I can say I saw that with my WC OC and someone elses who are both named Stormfall all out of coincidence. This happens IRL as well.). But more because that's not done much if at all in the newer series nowadays even though they'd make much better prefix names for kits. I wonder if the Erins aren't allowed to do that either, they aren't with suffixes, and the editors already suck when it comes to picking names for the newer kits they make. Ik Warriors is always making up new prefixes/suffixes and I agree there's room to expand, but it can end up with characters having ridiculous sounding names at times (Such as WHORLkit for instance. I had to look that up to even know wtf it was, and it still sounds weird even in a non-traditional sense.)
