I have a few questions about Tigerstar and Dovewing. First, why did they leave their Clans? This led to the disbanding of ShadowClan when Tigerstar left. (Then called Tigerheart.)
Second, why did Dovewing chose a mate and kits over her birth Clan?
Third (last one) their relationship was forbidden. How come they become mates when they were in different Clans?

1. Dovewing claimed she had a horrible dream and that ThunderClan wasn't safe, Tigerheart wanted her to join ShadowClan but she didn't want to. She decided to run off, while pregnant with his kits and was forcing him to choose between her and ShadowClan, which at the time was on the brink of extinction.

2. Who knows, apparently she didn't love her family and clan as much as she loved Tigerheart.

3. Again, who knows. They both knew the consequences and didn't care, plus their relationship was on and off for two series.
