I'm actually hoping for some wild boars to appear in Warriors. I know they appeared in Secrets Of The Clans only, but what if they appeared in the modern-day Clans? Or (since the area they live in has a mix of American and British wildlife) there can be some feral pigs since we've got feral hogs roaming around the southeastern USA.
Plus, what kind of reaction/interaction would the cats have about them?

Wait there were wild boars in SotC? Yeah, there were two of them in the myth of how LeopardClan won the river. Their names were Rage and Fury (Rage had killed a TigerClan apprentice), and a LeopardClan leopard named Fleetfoot decides to kill Rage to win her Clan the river. She does, and the LionClan and TigerClan leaders don't tell her about Fury. But when Fleetfoot ends up killing Fury too, they feel so ashamed of their own trickery that they give LeopardClan the river. |

If they came to the clans I could see it going two ways. 1.They kill off a ton of cats ending up making it prominent that the clans wont survive with them around. 2. If the clans take the advantage, they could hunt in patrols of 10-12 to kill them in leafbare. It seems unlikely but…

If the clans take the advantage, they could hunt in patrols of 10-12 to kill them in leafbare. It seems unlikely but… If the authors went with option 2, I bet the cats would have an extra helping of pork during leaf-bare.  |

The average wild boar is 5 times the size of the average cat, not to mention the thickness of their skin and how freaking deadly they are. Boars have killed humans. |

That myth was so bizarre. But yeah, maybe? It’s never concise on where the clans take place because it’s so inconsistent, so it wouldnt contradict much.

Now I have a feeling if somehow all the clans were starved to the bone and their normal prey couldnt be found, they would team up and try to kill atleast one. That however is uber unrealistic and probably wont happen so... |
