So in Moth Flight's Vision, we have an issue of hunting over borders. However, from the map... they don't seem to share any border? The lines aren't shown and I can't find a any highlighted image online. Based on where the camps are, and the likelihood of the stream being the border between SkyClan and ThunderClan, that only leaves the river. Am I missing something? Does SkyClan have that edge of woodland with one tree on a slight hill? It mentions Moth Flight staring into the forest, and that has quite the clearing, which then wouldn't make sense as much with Red Claw going into WindClan territory (yes, Willow Tail comments that he can sun himself in his territory, but if there was that much then that wouldn't be his excuse, surely). The best explanation I can think of is that the book, being written before the end of DOTC, hadn't yet finalised the borders and somehow mixed up that they had more forest there or something?

Most likely the borders just hadn't been finalized. Plus, the new map art is horrible and extremely vague.

I had the exact same thought when reading MFV. I figured the borders were different to the ones we see later, although it is mentioned Thunderclan shared a border with Riverclan so I dunno. I get more confused the more I think about it.

Tbh I hate the new maps a lot. They're very lazily done imho. The older ones were much more detailed
