Pretty sure that Tigerheartstar isn't gonna be like his grandpa. And I know that there's been other leaders with the same names like Rowanstar/Rowanclaw and Rowanstar from Code of The Clans.

With hundreds of cats, names are sure to be re-used. I think it wasn't the best decision to have a second Tigerstar, who is also a dark brown tabby, but I guess it'll be nice to see if he does go on to be a great, just leader.
I know I should have found his resurrection ridiculous -- he was completely dead before he was a leader -- but I don't know, I kinda like it. I just hope he turns out to be as good of a leader as the story is hyping him up to be.

You're definitely not the only one having doubts. He's an ok cat, I guess, and I'm sure he'd be a fine leader...
But he died, and Tawnypelt would have been better.

I'm joking, but it'd be more fitting than Tigerstar.
Like others have said, I would have preferred if Tawnypelt was made leader.
RoF was kinda weird. I felt like I couldn't get emotionally invested in the characters because a lot of little details and even large ones at times were distracting me.

what i want to happen is that he actually died for real, but then tigerstar's spirit is now possessing him
