Did Mistystar ever question Mothwing's omens and visions once it was discovered that Mothwing didn't believe in Starclan. I am thinking of an important faked omen that stated that Stormfur and Brook didn't belong in Riverclan. Was this ever touched upon in Mistystar's Omen? If not, should it and would it have affected Mistystar's view of Mothwing in that novella?

That's an interesting thought that I hadn't considered, though I haven't read Mistystar's Omen, so I do wonder if it was ever addressed. Mothwing's fake vision essentially forced Stormfur and Brook leave RiverClan...they weren't exiled, but they were being prosecuted unfairly, and accused of being RiverClan's downfall, or at least a big danger. The whole reason why Hawkfrost felt so threatened was because everyone knew Mistystar would have almost certainly picked Stormfur as her deputy. Granted, Stormfur's loyalty has shown to be a little iffy at times, since he went from RiverClan to the Tribe to ThunderClan (badger attack, when they went straight there instead of RC) to RiverClan to ThunderClan and then back to the Tribe. I suppose Hawkfrost had a point, because if Stormfur was made deputy, he would've eventually went back to the Tribe and stayed when they needed help with the rogues like in canon. Maybe Mistystar realized that herself and decided to just let it go? But with Mothwing's other fake visions, and how she had to repeatedly ask Leafpool for help like with the catmint, is something to consider.

Mistystar's Omen doesn't mention the Brook-Stormfur omen, from what I recall. I don't think it's ever brought up, but I expect Mistystar was highly suspicious after learning of Mothwing's lack of faith. I don't think it would have changed anything about the novella though... Mothwing still gets removed from the position of medicine cat just because of her lack of faith, and is only reappointed because Stonefur talks to Mistystar and sends her a moth omen too, and Reedwhisker almost dies - with the Clan outraged that Mothwing can't help. Mistystar changes her mind because of all of this, so it really wouldn't have affected anything else if the fake omen had been brought into things, I feel.
