ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ғᴏʀᴇꜱᴛ [ ʲᵒᶤᶰ ᵘˢ ]

     The four Clans live in a forest. They travel to Highstones to dream at the Moonstone in hopes of contacting their ancestors. The four Clans greet each other at Four Trees during the truce under the full moon for Gatherings. Behind Clan territory is the twolegplace, where kittypets, twolegs, and loners roam there. It's dangerous for the Clan cats to travel there.

[ RiverClan ]

     Watch out! Apprentices are forbidden to go near the gorge, as it's cut deep and there is a huge risk for falling. Luckily, RiverClan won't have to deal with WindClan invasions from here. The river is a great source of prey and protection for RiverClan, however it can be as dangerous as a twoleg monster. Sometimes the river is peaceful and quiet, giving life to the forest with its currents. However, sometimes it roars and crashes against the shores of RiverClan, threatening to pull anyone who dare pads near in. It had a horrible habit of flooding, creating a dire situation for the cats of RiverClan. A bridge is built over the river, near the gorge. This allows the cats of water to traverse safely to Four Trees. Across from the river lay Sunningrocks, a constant battleground between RiverClan and ThunderClan. The stones here soak up the sun, allowing for a nice place for relaxtion when it isn't drenched in warrior blood. It was once an island belonging to RiverClan, but when the currents changed, ThunderClan snatched up the rocks. The two Clans have fought over this sliver of land for generations. Facing Sunningrocks, on RiverClan's side of the river, rests the Rippling Willow. It stands strong against the rushing river. It's the closest tree to the ever-moving waters, almost as if it challenges it to wash it away. Even in floods, it stands firm. Its leaves constantly are pulled by the swirling currents, giving the tree a rippling effect. The tree is a beautiful sight at night. It isn't the only notable tree area in RiverClan. Beech Copse is a training thicket for apprentices as well as warriors. Finally, we have the camp. It's a well-drained island, circled by reeds and rustling waters. It's a better defense than thorns in their opinion, as the other Clans hate water. Their camp is well-protected and has never faced a true raid due to the waters swirling around them.

[ ShadowClan ]

     Gross! Do you smell that? That's the carrionplace, where nothing but rats and evil lurk about. Disease is prominent here, however cats of ShadowClan will sometimes resort to eating food here when prey is scarce and leafbare is hard. Apprentices train at the Burnt Sycamore. It's an ancient tree that was struck by lightning many seasons ago. Training sessions consisting of night hunting and stalking take place here. The thunderpath tunnel is what has earned ShadowClan's mysterious reputation. They use this tunnel when they plan to ambush ThunderClan or WindClan, as it leads to both territories. It goes under the thunderpath that is between ShadowClan and the other Clans. Fern Hollow is an excellent place for hunting. It's a dip in the land, and the ground is smooth and soft. Ferns clump together around the hollow. In the dip, pine needles cover the earth, providing hiding places for prey. Crooked Brook is feed from the river. It zig zags before thinning out. This is the Clan's main water source.

[ ThunderClan ]

     Whoa, look at that tree! The Great Sycamore is one of the largest trees in ThunderClan territory. It's strong and has thick branches. Apprentices learn to climb here, often daring each other to go higher. Watch out for adders! Snakerocks are home to venomous adders and the caves underneath can be home to more dangerous creatures. Owl Tree is a tree that homes a tawny owl. Legend says that when Owlstar was an apprentice, he watched the owl, following it at night while it was out hunting. He learned its secrets, becoming as silent and deadly as the owl itself during the hunt. The Sandy Hollow is filled with soft sand so apprentices prevent injuries while training. Sunningrocks is a constant battleground, but when the blood has been washed away and the sun is out, it's a hotspot for relaxation and hunting. The camp is settled in the middle of ThunderClan territory.

[ WindClan ]

     Look! Here is the abandoned badger set, a tunnel once used by a badger. Apprentices come here to learn the scent of a badger and it's now a great spot for hunting rabbits. The gorge is cut by the river and is quite deep. Elders from WindClan would boast about jumping over it when they were young, but apprentices are forbidden near it. It serves as a border with RiverClan. The northwest border is marked by a farm. Sheep, cows, dogs, and twolegs live here. WindClan doesn't go near it due to the dangers. Moss Meadow is a circle of trees where moss grows on the bark and the ground. Here, the apprentices gather moss and battle train. Tunnelers enter a main set of tunnels for hunting called Gorse Tunnels. It's named for the gorse that hides them, preventing from the other Clans that dare to raid find WindClan's most precious secret. They lay near camp, granting easy access. Towards Four Trees, we have Outlook Rock. It's a large boulder that grants vision over the moor. Apprentices are sent here to test their skills.

    Due to the head moderator's absence, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 will take over for WindClan. The head moderator of WindClan will be put on hiatus. If characters in WindClan were frozen, they may be freed. Due to lack of high positions such as medicine cat, Dou and Cro, two head moderators, will become medicine cats for ShadowClan and RiverClan respectively. Arachna will be the medicine cat for ThunderClan. Due to the stage in the plot, a coin will be flipped to determine which cat in each Clan will get sick from fowlcough. If enough cats are volunteered, certain members can be exempt from this.

     Sickness blazes through the Clans like fire. It's snuffed out the lives of many, sprinkling Silverpelt with more stars. While there is a sliver of hope, this sickness from the sky seems bent on extinguishing that flame. StarClan had remained silent for the first moon of leafbare before sending a message to one cat, WindClan Medicine Cat Apprentice. Determined to take fate into their own paws, they set out to find this star, but not without the blessing of the Clans themselves and the protection of warriors. While the small patrol has the burden of the Clans on their shoulders, the group proves to hold strong against the trials that lay ahead of them.

[ worrisome & obedient & caring ]

     Minnowsplash is a small she-cat. She's a diluted calico. Her paws are white and she has a white muzzle. The she-cat has pale blue eyes. Her tail is long and her paws are small and nimble. She's a wonderful swimmer, explaining her suffix. She has one brother, Morningwather.
     Despite being Duckstar's mate, Minnowsplash was close to the deputy before Duckstar, as Shimmercreek mentored her. She felt a pang of jealousy when her mate was chosen, as she felt she could bring honor to her former mentor's memory.
     Her jealousy subsided and she grew very supportive of her mate. In a way, Minnowsplash is worried about Duckstar's promotion to leader, as he has big paws to fill. Otterstar was able to bring ThunderClan's raids on Sunningrocks to a halt with one swift move. Despite her concerns, she believes he can make RiverClan thrive under his leadership and only wishes him the best.

     Morningwatcher is a medium sized tom. He's a dark ginger-and-white tabby. He has blue eyes, like his sister Minnowsplash. He has a white chest with small white paws. He has a long, fluffy tail.
     Morningwatcher has a close friendship with Crickethop of ThunderClan, often conflicting with the fact the two Clans constantly fight over Sunningrocks. Of course, the two have never faced each other in battle, so that helps. Morningwatcher isn't sure he'd be able to fight his friend.
     He refuses to comment on his friendship, as it's known to his sister and possibly the rest of the Clan. Though he claims he'll best Crickethop in no time if the two ever do meet in the scene of war. Despite all this, he gets very testy about any mentions regarding this friendship or even Crickethop.

     Maplewhisker is a decent tracker, being able to hunt a beetle in a light drizzle. However, when it comes to battle, she lacks the strength and strategy, making her more of a disadvantage to her Clan. Though she can defend herself if she has the right partner with her.

     Brackenswipe is a massive, battle-scarred tom. He has a ginger pelt and green eyes. He has claw marks across his face. The tom has dark ginger stripes across his pelt. He's short-haired and has a medium-length tail.
     The tom was once friends with ShadowClan's leader, Mallowstar. However, one thing shattered that friendship. The ginger tom is a fine hunter. One day, when the two were tasked in hunting for the Clans, Mallowstar apparently took his catches and acted like they were her own. Brackenswipe was then punished for not hunting enough for the Clan and for accusing Mallowstar of thieving. Ever since, the two have been strong rivals, with the warrior questioning many of Mallowstar's decisions.

     Tigerstar is a large tabby tom. His has a thick brown pelt. Tigerstar has a scar across his right cheek under his eye and torn ears. His chest is splashed with white along with his paws. He has long fur and a scar across his shoulders. His eyes are icy blue and he has long white whiskers.
     Tigerstar was born at the mid part of Talonstar's reign. He looked up to the leader as an apprentice, and like many before him, strove to become Clan deputy and eventually leader. He had a normal apprenticeship, despite witnessing the raid that costed ThunderClan Sunningrocks. This was the battle where he earned his scar across his shoulders. The young tom then began to view Talonstar differently, no longer idolizing him, but seeing him as a normal cat. Talonstar was beaten down by so many attacks on Sunnngrocks, as well as the growing hostilities between ThunderClan and WindClan.
     He became deputy at a younger age than most, as he still supported Talonstar despite his inability to reclaim Sunningrocks. He took the position with pride. During his deputyship, his mate had kitted two kits. Unfortunately, the three did not survive. Despite his loss, Tigerstar worked hard on the Clan, throwing himself into patrols and other duties.

     At the time, he was quarreling with his sister and two got a bit rough during this session. Of course, their actions were rightfully punished with tending to the elders for a moon, relieving the other apprentices of that duty during that time.

     Fernstar is a very small she-cat. She has a ginger tabby pelt broken up by white patches of fur. Her eyes are green like the grass in the forest. The she-cat has a distinctive white chest and paws. On the back of her neck, she has a long scar from a battle with ShadowClan. She has short, soft fur.
     Fernstar was Swiftstar's only "official" deputy. There was a short time that she had to step down due to expecting kits. A moon before they became apprentices, she returned to her duties. Fernstar carried on Swiftstar's distaste for ThunderClan. This could be due to their falling out during Heatherstar's time.
     One rumor during her time that put a strain on her relationship with her mate as well as her deputyship was if she was secretly mates with Swiftstar. The two were abnormally close, even for them being deputy and leader. Because Wolfwhisker and Swiftstar were both gray-and-white tabbies, no one could properly determine who was the father of Fernstar's kits. Wolfwhisker did love his kits, but after the rumors had spread like wildfire, he and Fernstar would argue more and more. It's also suspicious that Fernstar speaks fondly of Swiftstar, but has a harsher tone when speaking of her former mate.

     Large for a WindClan cat, Cloudchaser booms through the moor when he hunts for rabbits and hares. While his size could cause issues with going into the tunnels in WindClan territory, the tom is actually a good moor runner. He has long, lean legs. His shoulders are well-muscled, making him strong as well as fast. He has pale green eyes. His pelt is a dark mottled gray with tabby stripes and he has white patches all over him.
     Cloudchaser is the son of Fernstar and the brother of Speckleheart. His family isn't the best, especially with the rumor floating around that his mother's former mate may not even be his father. It bothers him, as he's big on family. Cloudchaser desires a family of his own, mostly in hopes of making the next generation better. He grew up with his mother and assumed father constantly bickering. While he was somewhat close to his mother, he was closer to his potential father, Wolfwhisker. However, he felt conflicted during their interactions given the rumor that floated around.
     Some would say he almost looks exactly like Wolfwhisker, however his behavior would be closer to Swifstar when he was younger. To this day, he hates hearing about his mother, father, and former leader. The tom doesn't want to be bothered with that, as his relationship with his mother is no longer great. In fact, he constantly challenges her and questions her. This could be due to him thinking he could do better, but it also could be that he is bitter towards her silence in the matter regarding who his father is.

Lillycloud is a fluffy white she-cat with oval heterochromia eyes; her left one is blue and her right one is green. This white she-cat is deaf in one ear and it's her left ear. Lillycloud is a very quiet she-cat she never raises her voice and is always soft spoken. A lot of times her clan mates can never hear what she is saying she does speak up a bit but not by much. While she is soft spoken she can be quite sassy when she wants especially when it comes to the other clans. She believes RiverClan is the best and will always believe it. While she may look like a cute cuddly pile of fluff she can be quite cruel when she wants. And this is usually when she's in a bad mood and takes it out on anyone. While she knows this is wrong and she feels guilty afterwards she will rarely apologize.

Dewstrike is a short haired light gray tom with pale blue eyes. He has a scar on his lower back and on three claw marks on his flank. This gray tom is a sweet yet an awkward tom he doesn't hold a conversation very well and it just turns into an awkward mess. He's very intelligent but doesn't really brag about it, not that he could anyway. He's very calm and patient with his clan mates and actually tries to interact with them; but he just doesn't know how. This gray tom is also quite silly, he's easily quite frightened which causes him to jump or his tail fluffs up. He doesn't like his jumpy nature and wonders if those that try and scare him do it on purpose because it's funny. He doesn't find it funny at all; even the sound of prey freaks him out which makes him jump.

Cedarfoot is a short haired dark brown tabby tom with hooded glowing yellow eyes. He has a white chest and has a scar on his left cheek and his left hear his been sliced. Cedarfoot is loyal to Shadowclan and to his leader. He is snarky and arrogant but tries to get things done when they're needed. He will do anything for his Clan. He is brave and one of the best fighters in the Clan. While he's the best he's no where from perfect. He can be brash with his decisions and can be very unpredictable of what he wants to do. While he is certainly working on it to improve he still falls to his old habits. He's can be patient and calm with his own clan mates, unless the do something to get under his fur. Him and his sister Mothwhisker don't really see eye to eye; and constantly get into arguments.

Mothwhisker is a short haired black she-cat with amber eyes; she has a white under belly and a white patch on her chest and on her forehead. This black she-cat is very friendly and an out going she-cat. She enjoys going on hunting patrols but hates border patrols due to the confrontation of another Clan. She doesn't deal with confrontation very well and tries very hard to stay away from it. While she can't deal with confrontation, she is still an intelligent she-cat. She thinks with her wits and not just her claws like her brother. She believes that maybe some battles can be solved with peace. Her brother has called her a mouse-brain for that idea; and that one day she's going to get killed with that idea. The black she-cat can be stubborn with this and beleives she is right. After all; not every clan in the forest is full of savages.

He is an athletic ginger tabby tom with dark blue tear shaped eyes. His pelt is short yet thick with a white chest and paws with a white dot on his forehead. Foxfang is one of the best hunters in his Clan, although he's very modest about it. He's kind and is very sensitive tries his best to not have that get in the way of his duties. The Clan is his main focus and goes out hunting or border patrols when he's asked too, although that may be an excuse to flirt with some toms. Even in the bleakest of times he tries to optimistic and tries to keep hope alive. But if he has an opinion he lets others know and doesn't back down with his opinion, although he doesn't just do it. He won't voice it unless something really got under his fur or something just doesn't sit right with him.

Mousepaw is a small she-cat with a light brown pelt with white only on her belly and her paws. Her eyes are as big as an owl's but a soft pale green color. Mousepaw might be a little smaller than other apprentices but she is determined to be a warrior. Her determination can get her into trouble though, she can get ahead of herself during a hunting session and end up either missing her prey or scaring a bunch of them away. Speaking of scaring;. Mousepaw can be easily frightened if she's concentrated very hard on something any noise will make her jump; even while she isn't concentrated she can be startled. Despite this she is actually brave and extremely curious. Mousepaw is also very shy and kind, she hates confrontation and tries to stay away from it the best she can.

Hazelfall is muscular short-haired brown tabby tom he has soft pale green eyes. His tabby pelt has white mainly on his throat and paws and a soft cream dot on his cheek. Hazelfall is kind and gentle and is very protective of his friends and family. He's very out going and always wants to help and please others, sometimes the pleasing of others can not be a good thing because he will drop everything he is doing to do something that someone is asked. He can be easily taken advantage and he wouldn't even notice and even would be naive if someone would try and bring it to his attention. He's a very anxious cat not about battles or anything but by his social standing it may seem stupid but he really cares about what others think of him. And wants everyone to like him, he doesn't understand that some will not like him.

Speckleheart is a diluted tortie with black and white being the main part with a little bit of pale ginger fur splotches on her pelt. She has soft blue eyes and a pink nose. Speckleheart is very kind and loyal to wind. She's optimistic about a lot of things but mostly about anything that's going on her day. She's extremely energetic and it always busy, she's one of the best hunters in the Clan. But she knows that others are better than her and never lets it become a competition. While she is one of the best hunters she is not a skilled fighter and has trouble with aiming her attacks, mostly because the poor girl goes cross eyed when focusing to hard. It's a bad habit of hers, that she hasn't gotten out of yet. While she isn't the best she keeps trying and never gives up trying. She'll get there; eventually.

[ obsessive & tough & efficient ]

Being the leader of RiverClan, the male has a lithe bodice. His muscles can be seen rippling through his blue grey fur. Bright yellow orbs sit calmly on his triangular features, his ears large like a bat's. Duckstar's tail is half its usual length. However, despite this, the leader is one of the greatest swimmers- in his opinion- that lives in the RiverClan camp. Duckstar, earlier known as Ducksplash, was mentored by the previous leader. Otterstar had mentored Duckstar, and later chose him to succeed her reign. He wanted to live in her steps, letting her legacy continue. He had always looked up to the brown she, wanting to keep Sunningrocks in her honor. Duckstar was always the obsessive type, keeping everything in mind while eating it up and obsessing over it. If a she-cat liked him, if a butterfly died. Nothing changed the male, other than his parents dying. He's tough, but obsessive.

Skunkhiss is your typical black and white cat. Her eyes are wide and her fur is thick and silky. She has long legs and a thick, bushy tail. She has wide green eyes and muscular back legs to help her along with her swimming. She has a scar on her left hind leg from a sharp rock she ran into while swimming. Her clumsiness definitely helped her get cut and scarred, but that never stopped her from continue swimming. Skunkhiss is used to getting her way, but as soon as Duckstar caught onto her, he made sure she was stuck in elder duty.

Troutpaw has short light brown fur with soft ticks of tabby markings on his legs and tail. His ears are rounded at the tips, and his whiskers are long. His eyes are a bright blue and angled down. He's quite the bitter one, always being hissy and unable to get through to him. But that never truly stopped him. He's always clean and makes sure to keep his prey blood-free. He's prone to panicking, knowing that he could get hurt by some random cat checking borders.

Sagebelly is a strikingly ginger feline. Her pelt is covered in ticks of darker orange, coating her in a tranquil pattern. Her underbelly is lighter than the rest of her, along with her chin. Her ears have a few nicks in them from previous battles along the border, but she's never let a few cuts slow her down. Ever since she was a kit, Sagebelly had always kept to herself. She's the kind of cat to keep to herself, give vague answers and act as if nothing could hurt her. She's always been the kind to offer to lead a patrol, to start a battle, but she admits if she made a mistake.

Wasppaw is quite the rowdy one. He's always on his paws and causing havoc on everything. This thick black fur is always messed up and scraggly, giving him that extra upsetting look. He's never really been obedient, always disobeying his mother's wishes. He would always be the flirty one, trying to woo the other toms that shared the den. His whiskers are stark compared to the rest of his frame, painted a bright white that clash unsettlingly with his bright orange orbs.

Nightflame | 35 Moons

[ apathetic & ambitious & daring ]

In the cover of shadows, Nightflame would be a hard cat to spot. His fur is jet black, with the only thing giving away his hiding spot is his white tail tip, and his white toes on his front left paw. His body is extremely lithe and agile, and he lacks the muscles stronger cats have. However, because he's on the leaner side, he's generally more quick than cats that may have a strength advantage to them. His eyes are a dark amber. Nightflame lacks the ability to empathize unless they are a good friend or family member. This can make him seem uncaring, or even disloyal at times. He's a naturally ambitious and competetive cat, always trying to be the best. Adventure is his favorite cure for boredom, and he has very few fears, allowing for him to be troublesome sometimes.

Echomask | 32 Moons

[ manipulative & sarcastic & elegant ]

Echomask is fairly pretty she-cat. Her pelt is a patchwork of oranges, black, and white. Her face looks like a black mask was plastered on top, covering her muzzle, eyes, and ears, while her cheeks return to the orange that makes up the majority of the rest of her fur. Black rare on the rest of her pelt, only covering her tail tip and a small patch on her flank, while the rest is a mixture of orange and white. Echomask is lithe and agile, and has a lean and slender body. She has a way with words, and knows how to manipulate others. However, as some see through her manipulative ways, she's not the most popular cat. She is often seen as lazy, however much she likes to deny it. Some say she'd be better off in the nursery, though not many would say that to her face. Echomask is one who isn't afraid to show her claws and bare her teeth, even to her clan mates.

Brooksplash is a dark grey tabby she-cat. Her tabby markings are black. She has white toes on each of her paws. Her body is slender and thin, although some may not believe that at first glance, as her fur is quite fluffy. This has proven to be a bit of a hindrance in her swimming endeavors, however she is learning every day to overcome it and become as quick and agile in the water as she is on land. Brooksplash is a very caring individual. She has motherly instincts to all her clan mates, and has the desire to care for each of them. She can be seen helping the medicine cat often. However, this doesn't mean her battle skills are below average. She can hold her own in a fight. She can make rash decisions, however, as she can be headstrong and rarely thinks about her actions, or words, before she does or says them.

Rippleswipe is a very light brown tabby tom with darker mackerel markings. He's of pretty average stature for a Riverclan cat, slender with short fur, advantageous for swimming. But he is quite muscular, and a very fierce cat. While Rippleswipe is extremely loyal to his clan, he's pretty quick to jump into a battle with the other clans, and to make accusations. He's extremely suspicious of the other clans, never trusting them for anything. But when he's given a task, he always makes sure it gets done. He's not the friendliest cat, but with a little patience, he'd make a good and loyal friend. He's very passionate, and will stick up for what he believes in no matter what, even if it's not whats truly the best.

Ravencry is a very interesting character. He's a pitch black tom, with no other color touching his pelt. The only other color variation he has is his bright yellow eyes. He's of average height and weight, and most of his skills are of average as well. However, he does excel in strategy and tracking; two of the more uncommon skills. This may be because he's a very calculating cat. A deep thinker, and interested in watching other cats. He can seem egotistical, as he can come off as thinking he's smarter than everyone else, but this is actually untrue. He's a sweet cat once you get to know him. Once he has a strong belief about something, he will stand up for his belief and die for it if he had to. He's on the more introverted side, meaning his social group is quite limited.

Eaglepaw is a dark brown tom, with darker tabby stripes. He's a muscular tom, with fluffy fur, making his appearance quite intimidating. However, is very energetic and fun to be around. It's easy to get the impression that he's a stern, rude cat because of his appearance, but as soon as you speak to him you'd see what a fun cat he can be. He loves adventure, and often times can be a rule breaker in the search for an adrenaline rush. He gets his name from his newborn days, when he drew blood on his moms belly kneading for milk. His claws are impressive, though his actual battle skills could use some work. When it comes to fighting, he tends to think he can win with just brute force, but that doesn't always happen. While he has a lot of training to do, he's a sweet cat who just loves adventure and wants to have fun.
