My version of Tigerstar's death - is it believable?

It's the topic on how Tigerstar could be killed while taking all his nine lives, without Scourge and his MacGuffin claws coming along and cheated the characters from actually having to sit down and how to figure out how to kill Tigerstar themselves.
So here's it could work:
So the apprentices discover an overgrown water well, in the back of an abandoned twoleg garden. (3 apprentices involved in killing Tigerstar) One of the apprentices, who's close to Tawnypaw and Bramblepaw (*Cough*Snowkit/paw*Cough*) goes to Tigerstar and claims that Bramblepaw wants to him privately, away from territories, to talk about joining Shadow/Tigerclan. Tigerstar is led to the abandoned garden. Beforehand, the apprentices had gathered a collection of large stones and had dropped a baby badger into the well. So when Tigerstar arrives with Snowpaw, he overhears the whaling of the baby badger, going to invest it, peering into the well.
Then two apprentices who were hiding, jump from the bushes, joined by Snowpaw, the three apprentices slam into Tigerstar, their combined strength enough to make him stumble back and fall into the well. Due to it being so deep and sheer walls, Tigerstar is unable to climb out no matter how hard he tries, always falling back into the water. With the stones they collected earlier, they start throwing them down into the well, some hitting Tigerstar on the head. Then it becomes a long process of slowly draining Tigerstar's lives, by either him getting exhausted and drowning, or being hit in the head by a rock.
