So I've heard people say that the Warriors series has had some new editors, and that they aren't as good as the old ones. But does anyone know who the new editors are? Who were the old ones? All I know is that I think Vicky used to be an editor, but she left. So who is running the editing team now, or did the past? I thought HarperCollins always did, but is that not the case anymore?

It's not their fault. Mapleshade abused them as children. Read all about it in the upcoming Deadpool-style book, Mapleshade's Mapleshade.

I know one of them was Erika, she hosted a live chat once and the mods picked out questions for her to answer. I remember asking her about the editors and the amount of inconsistencies, and all she said was "We're not perfect." Oh well?

The past editors won't that bad. There were name typos, gender changes, and resurrections of really minor characters that didn't affect the story one bit for the most part. The majority of Omens of Shadows is somewhat okay, with the exception of River of Fire. The name flip flop of Rippletail and Slatefur is uncalled for. This flip flop changes the story drastically and should have been caught and fixed. It is so bad that if Harper Collins is a decent publishing company they would pull the book off the shelves, fix the error, and republish, giving a refund for customers who bought the messed up book. Something similar has happened with bestselling books by other publishing companies and they have done this. I really believe this should be a firing offense and the editor should either be let go or put on probation.

All I know is that these editors aren't necessarily better than the last ones. Which is rather unfortunate.
