Third books are great, but I have a special place in my heart for fifth books. I love how the good ones build up to the climax and leave you with a sense of anticipation. River of Fire was somewhat of a letdown, but I absolutely love A Dangerous Path, Long Shadows, and A Forest Divided.

"A Dangerous Path" for me I guess, even though it had many moments that were an emotional roller coaster and thus made me close the book multiple times as I was reading it. It was hard to read for me emotionally (Swiftpaw's Death and Brightheart getting close to dead still makes me upset, along with many other things), and is even harder for me to reread because of that, but gosh it's a good one.

A tie between A Dangerous Path and Long Shadows, so I went with the former.

Kinda sad that no one else enjoys A Forest Divided as much as I do...

Long Shadows. I thought it had perfect pacing for a fifth book, and I loved the character development.

As much as A Dangerous Path is A Dangerous Path, Sol > A Dangerous Path.

Long Shadows, anyone? That book was lit. It's a fantastic book. I prefer both ADP and AFD.
